"This hotel is amazing. I booked 4 rooms for a touring band. I was slightly worried about some of the negative reviews, but the place was great. It does need some attention, but it's an historic building - 400 years old! The stairs are crazy, like something from a funhouse! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Mario, the manager is awesome. Friendly, chatty and accommodating. There's no bar and no food, but it's in the centre of Wisbech, and there are plenty of food and drinks options in town. We took a band picture with Mario, but for some reason I can't upload it here. "

For example, the tub is higher than normal and would be problematic if you are older. Heat seemed to be missing except in the bathroom. Still, we would easily stay there again when we return. "
