Enjoy the ultimate glamping experience in our Yurt near Totnes/ Dartmouth. It combines the luxuries of home with the freedom of the outdoors to ensure you have a relaxing and comfortable stay.
This beautiful Yurt boasts stunning views over the rolling hills of South Hams Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Lovely beaches nearby. This charming space, with king bed, wood burner, solar electricity and indoor kitchen (full cooker with 4 hobs and oven), combines the comforts of home with the freedom of the outdoors, it has all you need for a basic yet cosy countryside break. Sleeps 4 comfortably.
The Hot Tub is subject to availability and needs booking at an additional price (more info below).
Your private Yurt accommodation is situated at Landmatters eco-community. There are 2 yurts in total, situated in a field separate from other dwellings with plenty of space around them.
Your sleeping area has everything needed to relax. It sleeps up to 4. 2 in a king bed and 2 on a double sofa bed.
The bathroom is communal and there is a toilet, men's urinal, outdoor sink and a walk-in shower.
Linen and hand towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.
Outside there is a private sitting area with picnic table, chairs and charcoal BBQ (bring your own charcoal).
This space is "off-grid". It has a wood burner, solar electricity (240v) and it is beautiful, peaceful and cosy.
Drinking water is pumped by hand from our borehole and rainwater harvested for washing up. Full containers are supplied. The kitchen has everything you need including gas cooker with oven.
A basket load of fuel for the burner is included, further wood can be bought (£15 per load).
Hot Tub:
A Wood Fired Hot Tub is available on request unless it's booked out already.
It is situated by the stream in our beautiful secluded wooded valley (5-10 minutes walk).
The tub holds 8 person max.
There is a fire-pit, fairy lights and a spring-fed stream.
Due to the time required to fill and heat the hot tub we request at least 24 hours notice if you wish to use it.
The cost for this unique experience is £90.
House Rules:
- Check-in time is 3pm and check-out is 10am.
- Smoking is not allowed.
- There is free parking on the premises
- Pets are not allowed at the property.
Please be aware this is a rural location, the road leading to our property is a narrow Devon lane and the track going up to the yurts is bumpy in places. We have vehicle parking close to the accommodation in a car park area, however should you prefer, you can park inside our entrance gate and walk up the hill (5-10mins). Let us know if you need a wheelbarrow.
Guests can enjoy strolling in the fields and the woods. Please keep to the paths in the long grass and be aware of our neighbour's boundaries and please leave no litter.
