"I booked 2 rooms , 1 of them for my 17 yr old granddaughter, i did ask if we could have rooms close , but 1 was on the top one was on the ground floor , when we walked into my granddaughters it smelt wonderful and was nice and clean , but when we went up to ours it smelt of stale cigarettes, was awful i opened both windows , the shower made such a awful noisy, the quilts were made for summer so we all were so very cold , i was very disappointed, was ok for the one night , if we were staying...

"When we arrived at the Griffin, to our surprise, our reservation was canceled. Apparently, the Griffin had a water leak and were in the process of repairing the damage. They said that an email was sent to us canceling our reservations 2 days prior. We were on a cruise at the time and did not get this email because we had no service while on the cruise. It was a very unfortunate situation. We are from the USA and found out upon arrival in England that our cell phones were not working properly so...
