"I've stayed here before without any issues. Unfortunately that wasn't the case for my last visit. The hotel states that the reception closes at midnight - if you're going to be later to contact them for the code to get the keys. This has worked well for me in the past when I've had a late flight . On this occasion my flight arrived at Malaga about 7.45pm so I knew I would make it to reception with plenty of time. "The shower head was broken. I reported it and by morning they gave us a new one. A small TV which was busted but we could care less. The staff were generally nice and responsive. We never stay in Hostals but Malaga is full of tourists and price are elevated too much. "

"Greeted by Manageress, granted requested balcony room. English a bit lacking but certainly better than my Spanish. Room a tad basic but comfortable beds, good size balcony with table and chairs. Plentiful hot water for bathing or shower, decor somewhat dated as was furnishings, a fresh lick of paint wouldn't go amiss. Mask's to be worn in hotel common area's * a good thing! The coffee maker was a pod unit and should really come with at least a couple to get started and to know what to buy for more coffee.
