"The staff were great and the room was clean, to the best of a housekeeper’s ability. I’ve seen other reviews that say the hotel needs a renovation, I think it just needs the care of a tradesman. Done of the bathroom tile were held down with tape. The room had no water when I checked in, but that was quickly remedied. Overall, I would say this place just needs done skilled attention. "

Luckily I saw this little detail when looking for the address and phone number the day before I arrived and was able to call ahead to make sure someone would be able to check me in since my flight wasn't scheduled to land until 612p. But pic are true to what you get. Had my 1st aloo pies for breakfast at the restaurant. Highly recommend them!"

"Just returned from a wonderful week at Fort Recovery Beachfront Villas … This property is located on the quiet side of Tortola with spectacular views of St John. Ourwas spotless, comfortable, and steps from the beach. The grounds and pool were clean and clear despite some very windy conditions. "We booked our 3bed 3 bath waterfront villa for only one night as we were in the BVI for a 5 day sailing charter which departed the following day. The owner met us in the parking lot to make sure we could find the unit and answer any questions. That doesn’t happen every day. The place had three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and the beds were all king sized. It was spacious and perfect for our party of 3 couples. The AC worked great, and the place was spotless.
