lovely week
We had a lovely week in the villa. The property was spotless and secure, We had 2 dogs with us and the property was fully fenced and had a big strong gate. The views across the valley were superb and we soon got used to the road to the property, which is a bit rough in places. The nearby town of Torrox was nice and Nerja was a real gem with lots of good restaurants and bars. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our week and Salvador was a wonderful host.

An individual and tranquil house
We loved the tranquility of this house and in the area. The scenery was beautiful. It was wonderful to just to go for a walk just entering the gate. It took about 30 min from Torrox centre by car, because the road is meandering through the mountains. So one has to be prepared to drive even the smallest roads (not always with a realing). It was a good location outside big tourist centres and it was convenient for trips everywhere in Andalusia. The house is ideal for 4 (the two bedrooms have windows, wheras the third has not; also the glasses etc are to 4-6 persons and require washing dishes frequently). As we spent some time at the house during the coldest month of the year, we were happy that a single heater was sufficient. If the December had been colder some heaters would have been recommended. The host was extremely helpful, giving us advice, and helping with tickets to a fantastic flamenco show at Torrox theatre. We received avocados, mangos and oranges from the organic fields. It was a great location for us as we wanted to be close to hiking possibilities.

The most peaceful place in Spain - probably!
Our 2nd visit to Villa Las Olas didn’t disappoint. Even with mixed weather, the tranquility of this place soothes the soul! The villa is spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. The provision of pool towels was a welcome addition as was the kettle. The pool was very clean and there were fat comfy mattresses for the sun beds. There were a lot of wasps around (only to be expected) so it’s a good idea to bring a deterrent with you. All in all, a lovely restful place for a holiday.

What a lovely place to stay!
If you want a stay with lovely views and peace and quiet this is for you. You will need a rental car as it is off the beaten track. We got left fresh fruit and vegetables to eat during our stay, which were delicious, and we were visited during our stay with fresh grapes and figs. The villa was exceptionally clean and we couldn't have asked for more. There are plenty of places to visit within an hour, we went to Malaga, Torrex, Nerja and Granada. The views are beautiful. The only thing that lets Torrex down is all the mobile phone masts that you can see, these are not visible at the villa, it is a pretty little town though. We would certainly think about revisiting.

Lovely property with stunning views
Firstly the owner Salvador was a fabulous host , he gave us gifts from his gardens including grapes , figs , tomatoes (the best I have ever tasted!) , avacados and lemons to name a few. The house is very remote so those seeking peace and quiet this is the place for you. The house is well equipped and the pool was fab for our three girls and was used several times a day!! The only issue is there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms and as we were there during a heat wave it was very warm at night and difficult to get to sleep. there is air con in the lounge and we found leaving bedroom doors open onto the lounge area did help. I would certainly stay again.

Amazing house and very friendly owner
This house is absolutely faboulous,it contains everything you need for a great vacation. The views from the terraces are beautiful and its very quiet area, no noisy neighbours around. The owner, Salvador, is very friendly and kind man. At first night we arrived very late but he was already waiting as at the meeting point. He also provided us welcome pack, a very tasty homemade tortilla and many more croceries. He also brought us lots of fruits from his farm which were so tasty. The area is so nice,especially we loved Nerja and its beaches.We strongly recommend Salvador's house for a sunny Andalucian experience.

Lovely house, very clean, good location
I've just spent 8 nights with my mother at this property. Arriving at night and getting slightly lost (we had trouble finding the meeting point where the owner was waiting but he found us!), the drive from Torrox pueblo to the house seemed endless, the main road very twisting and the house off a long track. But next day it was actually very easy; and less than 8km from the house to the village. Torrox Costa was a further 6 or 7km - a long beach and a number of supermarkets were there. We arrived on a Saturday night and had stopped off to buy essentials at Velez-Malaga. Next day, we found that Super Sol in Nerja (along the lovely A340 coast road) is open on Sunday! The house itself has the main living area downstairs - a comfortable sitting area with TV/DVD/CD and an air con unit; 3 bedrooms each with a fan and ample wardrobe space, a bath/shower/WC and a compact kitchen with separate utility room (fridge, washing machine). We didn't use the bunk beds but the double room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. One of the single beds had a rock-hard mattress but the other was fine. The kitchen was equipped with most basics but no kettle. More cutlery would be an improvement too. The spacious downstairs patio has a BBQ (no tools) and dining table seating 6 under an oak tree which was strung with coloured fairy lights - very pretty at night. Lots of wasps unfortunately but the owner has provided a number of traps. Upstairs is a shower room and WC off a large sitting area. There is a small rear patio with a table and 4 chairs which provided lunchtime shelter from the sun! The pool was small but adequate for cooling off, and was sparkling clean - there was also a poolside shower. Comfortable sunbeds, a small table and a large umbrella completed the furnishings. The property was very secure - bars on all windows and a heavy metal gate at the entrance, plus automatic lighting at night. It's just under 2km from the main road to the house down a slightly bumpy track which our Fiesta managed without difficulty. The owner and his family are lovely and provided water, fresh figs, grapes and mangoes on our arrival. However, the option of a basic welcome pack would be appreciated for late night arrivals (milk, bread, coffee). In summary the house is basic but well maintained - we loved it and hope to return next year. Thank you Salvador!

magnifico holiday with wonderful people
As our title says we had alovely Holiday in a lovely Villa, very well furnished and equiped in the moste tranquill and magnificent surroundings, views to die for and pristine cleanliness throughout. The Villa was matched by the owner and family, wonderful people, welcoming and generous and hard to leave. Would recomend to everyone Enjoy as we did in June 2017. Tony and Dot

Accueil très chaleureux. Vous êtes attendu avec un bon feu de bois, une corbeille de fruits, de légumes frais offerte et provenant de la ferme familiale ainsi que de quoi vous restaurez (charcuterie, beurre, pain, ...). La villa est très bien équipée. Assez spacieuse. Dommage, qu'il manque de clarté dans le living et la cuisine. Route pour y accéder pas des plus pratiques, vous êtes en pleine montagne avec des chemins escarpés. La vue quant à elle est magnifique sur les montagnes avoisinantes. Si vous recherchez le calme c'est l'endroit idéal bien que fort à l'écart. Le grand plus, c'est le PROPRIÉTAIRE pour sa grande disponibilité, sa gentillesse, toujours là pour donner de bons conseils et vous aider en cas de problème et ce en toute discrétion. N'hésitez pas à passer commande de fruits (mangues, oranges, citrons, ...), de légumes (tomates, avocats, ...), d'huile d'olive, .... Tous leurs produits sont bio. Merci à Salvador et à ses frères pour ce superbe séjour. Nous reviendrons ! Guy et Lucienne

Buena ubicación para disfrutar el silencio del campo y estar al mismo tiempo cerca de todo
La casa tiene una buena ubicación porque uno puede disfrutar de la vida tranquila en el campo y estar al mismo tiempo conectado a la entretención. Se puede llegar rápidamente a Torrox Pueblo, Torrox Costa y también Cómpeta para las compras diarias, para disfrutar un dia en la playa, para comer o tomarse algo en uno de los multiples bares o restaurantes, para hacer un trekking o andar en bicicleta. Hay miles de posibilidades de pasarlo bien y el tiempo siempre se hace corto. Desde la casa también se pueden hacer paseos a otros pueblos blancos, o a Málaga, Granada o Córdoba. Nos encanta esta zona, sus paisajes y su gente amable son bálsamo para el alma. Nuestro anfitrión Salvador un verdadero lujo, consintiéndonos con fruta de su campo y siempre atento a nuestras necesidades. Como el objetivo de nuestra visita fue encontrar una casa en esta zona, hasta nos ayudó para hacer contactos y para darnos información muy valiosa. Estamos muy contentos porque encontramos en él y su esposa unos excelentes nuevos amigos. Gracias y hasta pronto!!

Wonderful and very relaxing holidays
the house is wonderful and in a remote but very peaceful location and you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the mountains around you. In 15 mins you drive to Torrox beach and plenty of activities over there. salvador the host is the most helpful and courteous host I have ever met and takes pride of his little gem in the beautiful mountains. We will be back 😀

Formidable !!!!
Je recommande 100% cette location. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Salvador, il nous avait même déposé en guise d'accueil du raisin et des tomates de son jardin. Torrox est un village très charmant avec sa place au parapluie très jolie. La villa est située dans les hauteurs, pas de voisins, au milieu des chants des cigales - un très beau paysage. Nous étions ravis ! On a pu profiter de la terrasse, du barbecue, de la piscine... Ce fut un séjour formidable !! Merci à Salvador et sa famille pour leur gentillesse et leur accueil. De bons conseils pour les restos, les plages, les visites dans le coin... On ne peut que aimer !!!!
