"Picture yourself in a century-old castle high on a hill in the heart of Tuscany. Your surroundings are those of a majestic Monet painting. Birds humming, and the smell of fresh croissants fills the air. A cup of hot cappucino is being brought to you by the most professional but always smiling and always friendly staff .No you're not dreaming, you and your family of 30 are guests at Villa Leonina, Every room has an ensuite bathroom with daily maintenance and fresh towels. CASTELLO NELLE CRETE

Belvilla by OYO Castel del Gallo

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1)
"The villa had an excellent layout for families traveling together with amazing views of the countryside and mountains, and was within walking distance to a lovely family-owned osteria and short drive to local food stores. The large pool was fantastic. Our host Barbara was lovely, answered all our questions promptly and made check-in and check-out very easy. The only negative was that the advertised hot tub was completely non-functional during the week of our stay, but Barbara did her best to...

"We loved our very private three bedroom + three bath, two story apartment in this historic castle. It is spacious, beautifully furnished. And it has its own tower. The patio with arbor and view was a great place to dine. Staying here was a highlight of our trip. A good base from which to make day trips (Siena, Florence, Montepulciano). We were made to feel welcome."

Villa Banditello, secluded, panoramic view over Montepulciano valley.

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (23)
"This property and our stay was outstanding. Everything was exactly as we hoped. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The villa is away from the city, but the town is easily accessible. You do need a car. The view from the property is like in a dream and we sat for many hours in the mornings and evenings taking it in. The home is spotless with everything we could possibly need. The owner is extremely helpful and assisted us with dinner reservations and our many questions. We even had wood...

Traditional stone cottage in rural, tranquil and quiet location built in 1799

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (39)
"John & Dianne were utterly lovely and made every effort for us. The listing is very clear and if you're looking for peace and quiet in a serene valley, you couldn't do better. The track should be driven with care but after the first time accompanied by John, it's not too bad. I wouldn't bring a car with low clearance though. John and Dianne are in their home next door which was nice to know. They very much left us to it and didn't mind us playing our music by the pool. Otherwise we didn't see...
