"Nice quiet spot in the woods but very close to San Gimignano. Very clean. Comfortable beds. They don’t provide towels or soaps, but that is clear up front. You can rent towels if you want and they sell soap/ shampoo in the office. "

"Beds were comfy, sheets and towels were clean. A tea towel and dishwashing sponge / washing up liquid would have been useful, but the chalet was otherwise well equipped for basic cooking. Nice pizzeria and mini market on site with fresh bread and croissants daily as well as most other essential items. Good sized swimming pool - swimming hats compulsory but sold cheaply at the pool bar. Buses into Sienna stop near the site entrance - night buses back are a bit confusing though! Staff at reception...

"Authentic home of where Pope Alessandro stayed or lived. The front desk staff very helpful and nice. It’s rustic but still clean. Centrally located. We didn’t have real hot water but didn’t mention and they were so upset about it. It’s a little noisy outside but totally worth it to be in such a great area and be part of the history. "
