"If I could give this property 10 stars I would..it was absolutely spectacular. The panoramic view of the sea from the terrace was stunning and we made a lot of use of the mini- pool on the terrace. There is a wonderful covered terrace with a table and chairs and an outdoor shower as well as one inside so you can look at the sea while showering!!!!. We didnt use the BBQ or pizza oven but they were great features to have. Livia the owner had already sent us a welcoming email with useful tips on...

"Sehr schönes Objekt, gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und ordentlich an guter Lage. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und nichts vermisst. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen wieder da Ferien zu machen mit Familie. Die Besitzerin und Betreuung sowie und Kommunikation waren freundlich und zuvorkommend, vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub. "We hebben volop genoten van ons verblijf. De ligging en de toegankelijkheid van de zee waren de kers op de taart. Het huisje zelf is zeer basic en compact. Het mist wat extra zorg, vooral op vlak van praktisch gebruik. De ligging compenseert de gebreken."

"A stylish and comfortable apartment in a quiet and private location with beautiful views along the coast. Met by Gabriella whose English is perfect and who explained how everything worked and made local recommendations. The owner, Alessandro, popped by during the week (bringing local pastries!) to say hello and check everything was ok. The provisions left for us were beyond expectations....wine, beer, milk, soft drinks, a fruit bowl, breakfast items, tea, coffee, biscuits, snacks, pasta,...

"We had the best stay at Trullo Monia. The property and its grounds are awesome. A large gated drive way to the front with a really good size patio, BBQ area and pool to the side and rear. Although Monia couldn't be there to meet us in person she was available on the phone for any questions we had and was super helpful. We can highly recommend Trullo Monia. 5 stars from us!!!!"

"My husband & I had the most wonderful time in this very pretty authentic accommodation. Such a romantic setting with stunning views & very peaceful. The accommodation as basic as it is had everything we required & needed, the outdoor shower was just brilliant. Livia, the host’s daughter, was most helpful with supplying us with all the local information & her tips for eating out etc..Bruno & Livia were lovely & incredibly helpful! Would highly recommend this little rustic gem! "

Highly recommend!Just a perfect location if you have a car. The sea views are always interesting.

"Tommasso and Maria are fabulous hosts who go out of their way to help. They came one day with pastries for us and there were refreshments and snacks for us in the refrigerator. The bed is comfortable, kitchen very well equipped! Loved the morning sunrise on the balcony with a visiting cat who greeted us everyday. The only negative was no wifi but Tommasso brought us a modem. And the thirty stairs to get to the unit. It’s not a problem for most but I have mobility issues "

Great place to stay for a quiet and beautiful setting.

"The property is very suitable for a family group. A caveat is that it works for up to 2 adult couples and several children. We had one other adult who had to find accommodations elsewhere for privacy as the fourth sleeping area is actually the kitchen. Great, functioning wood fired pizza oven was a plus."

Delighting Apartment overlooking the sea

"Absolutely loved our stay in Castro, the apartment was extremely comfortable, clean &typically Italian. We loved sitting outside to enjoy the sea view and ambience of the area. Castro is a beautiful town and located within easy reach of Brindisi or Bari Airports with easy to reach other towns. Lovely restaurants & views. Our hosts were welcoming. Would recommend."

"The property is well maintained and extremely clean. Be sure to have the room cleaned as they have some night critters. Would be great that at time of arrival more information about activities that take place, like horse riding. The breakfast is $10 Eu per person which I think is a bit too much and they require a swimming cap for pool use. The sell them if you want to use the pool. "
