He was in constant touch with us as we made our way in to Monopoli by train, and then even came out of his way to greet us after our late evening arrival. He also gave us numerous ideas for nearby places to eat. Our apartment was beautiful - clean, modern, and large (by European standards). "Hotel a bit old fashioned, but clean. Matras a bit hard. Good for people how likes hard matras. staff was nice and very helpfully. Breakfast a litlle bit scanty. Fresh but alot of sweet food ,but good coffee. You need to rent a car because there aren’t any taxis. Shuttlebus from the hotel was very good arranged."
