Seaton Beach goes mad in the summer with ice creams, flip-flops, suntan lotion, fish and chips, happy children and tourists from around the world, it is a big sandy beach that stretches from Seaton all the way across Downderry village and beyond, so space for everyone, and dogs are permitted all year round.
You find yourself waking up in one of the 2 master bedrooms to the sound of the sea softly lapping and the reflection of the sun on the ceiling, step through the double doors out onto the sky balcony and take in the warm coastal sea breeze while looking forward to a day on the beach.
After enjoying a Cornish cream tea, maybe drizzled with our own honey from our welcome hamper, in the magical mature private garden you find yourself wondering down to the beach for a ice-cream and a refreshing swim.
You look up from your watch to see children exploring the rock pools, plenty of time for a quick nap in the sun before lunch at any three of the places to eat at in Seaton, the Seaton Beach Café, The Beach House bar and restaurant or the Smugglers Inn. All which are just a very short walk from the beach.
After lunch you pop back to Treglisson to drop off the wet towel and change into your shoes, time to explore Seaton valley's nature walk which winds its way alongside the river, up the lush wooded valley deep into the nature reserve. Can you spot an Otter or Deer? After 2 miles of flat ground walking through nature you'll find yourself in the little Cornish village of hessenford, quench your thirst at The Copley Arms sat right next to Seaton river or enjoy a meal in their restaurant.
In the evening you enjoy ether two of the living rooms watching the dancing flames of the open fire. In the Marble Room lounging on one of the 3 cream Chesterfield sofas while the underfloor heating seeps through the crema marfil marble floor warming your feet.
Above the Jotul no 6 designer fireplace there is a 65 inch Wall Mounted LED 4k Super HD 3D TV with built in ceiling stereo home cinema sound system. There are 5 pairs of active 3D glasses, a Blue Ray/DVD player with a selection 2D and 3D Films, also 2 game consoles with a selection of games, so there is fantastic entertainment options for all.
After a long day, relax with a glass of bubbly on the front terrace and let your batteries recharge while listening to the sea and watching the twinkling stars, the distant flash of the Eddystone lighthouse and passing ships gliding over the waves.
Then up ether the princess spiral staircase in the west wing to the second master bedroom to have a shower in it's shower room en-suit and sleep in it's king sized bed and wake up to it's sea views and balcony, or sleep in the very peaceful garden view single bedroom there and enjoy having the bathroom just across the hall from it, or up the main staircase sleep in the king sized sleigh bed in the first master bedroom right at the front of the house with the best views and balcony too. Or the peaceful double bedroom with views of the sea and Rame peninsula, or have fun sleeping in one of the bunks in the bunk-bed room or in the single bed placed right under the window with the sea and Rame peninsula view. Enjoy the convenience of the main bathroom being right across the hall from these two bedrooms.
The views here will capture your heart and leave you aching to return to this beautifully-presented well equipped coastal home year after year as expressed by so many of our previous guests.

Plymouth is famous for it's Smeaton's Tower Lighthouse on the Hoe, Pilgrim Father Steps, National Marine Aquarium, Barbican Boat Trips, and countless seafront cafés, bars and restaurants.
Experience the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets, the sea and sky are always changing, one day you get heavy rain and stormy seas, the next day the sun is burning brightly with a mirror smooth sea.
Discover The Coastline, you can walk for miles along the beaches in both directions and the coast path from the house to Looe is one of the best in Cornwall.
Seaton is a small coastal village, there is the Beach House Restaurant & Bar, Seaton Beach Cafe and Smugglers Inn Pub all on the seafront, with a park, children's playground, multi game court including hoops for basket ball, goals for foot ball and an erectable net for tennis, and a public toilets building right next to it all. Plenty of parking and a bus stop.
Seaton is joined to Downderry on the seafront, Downderry has the Bewshea's Bar and Restaurant, Inn On The Shore Pub and Restaurant, Summink Different vegan/vegetarian cafe and a convenience store.

All set to a timer to welcome you in after maybe having dinner out, so no needing to turn them on or off. And of cause a special Christmas hamper to welcome you in!
