"Great hotel. Right near so many restaurants, stores, markets, and bowling. The hotel’s breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing. My husband is a vegetarian and they had fruit, vegetables, tons of varieties of granola and breads. It was the perfect start to our day!"

"Chalet-style hotel right next to a shopping centre. Good for shopping (obviously) and dining. Easy check-in and parking. Clean, bright room with a balcony. Functional and clean bathroom with a good shower. Breakfast was plentiful and very fresh. We would definitely stay again. "

"Pleasant surprise, I had been to Moss before and walked past a few times without giving it a second thought. However, having stayed it is a nice hotel, the room was very spacious and well kept. The breakfast options were surprisingly large and varied. A free hot drink when ever you wanted downstairs, the taxi ordering facility either for now or later. The free use of umbrella`s which was very useful on one occasion. All round a genuinely nice hotel with friendly staff, would happily stay again."

"Absolutely enjoyed 10 days on this historic property! The property is adjacent to the fortress and the hotel is a converted Soldiers barracks. A sense of tranquility and peacefulness surrounds you when you walk around the property. The property is well maintained and oversees the city of Halden. The staff made my family feel like home. The staff were professional and kind; they made us feel welcomed. The staff checked on our family when we were off the property for over 24 hours to ensure we were ok and safe. The daily breakfast buffet was delicious with an array of local, organic, cold and hot items. The dining area is clean and have the best lasagna on their dinner menu. We plan to return to Norway and plan to return to the Fredriksten! "
