Nice apartment, nice area, not a hotel.
Highly recommended! But please note, this is NOT a hotel. That being said, this is a very nice choice for a longer stay. It is a one-bedroom apartment in a residential high-rise. It has a full kitchen and a washer/dryer. There is also cable TV, Netflix and good wi-fi. There are stores a short walk away for food and sundry items (if you forgot to pack your toothbrush, etc.), as well as several restaurants. The apartment is quiet and comfortable, and the balcony has a nice view of Lake Ontario. If you are in town for Blue Jays baseball, the stadium is a short, easy walk from here, as well as CN Tower and Ripley Aquarium. There is parking available for a daily fee, but it was cheaper for us to walk/Uber everywhere. Since this is a privately-owned apartment, you will be asked to submit a refundable security deposit and upload your I.D. before being given check-in instructions. Checking in/out were super easy, just keep those instructions handy. As long as you're willing to be a considerate (quiet) neighbor and clean up after yourselves before you leave, this is a nice alternative to a hotel. We would definitely consider staying here again if we ever return to Toronto!
