A Perfect Stay!
We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home for 2 weeks. It was a staycation of sorts - a girl's getaway from city living for myself, my sister-in-law, and my 11-year old daughter. Didn't take long to settle into a blissful routine. I would start every morning with my coffee on the shaded front porch, watching the chipmunks and birds frolic while the neighbourhood of walkers, runners and cyclists passed by enjoying their morning workouts. After preparing breakfast in the fully-stocked kitchen, I would move to the back deck for a little morning flow Yoga or set up to do some work. The deck has a table and chairs and stays shaded until early afternoon so even on the hottest days we were able to enjoy an outdoor lunch. But the afternoons were spent in the back garden, which is an absolute oasis with the heated pool and stunning flowers. The property has reliable wifi and great cell coverage - we were able to work and play without issue. There are a few board games and a badminton net with all the equipment to keep you entertained as well. We were able to keep our bikes in the locked garage, which was an added bonus and we were glad that we brought them - the cycling trails in the area are excellent. We strolled to the end of the street to watch the rowers training on the river and walked down to Lakeshore a few times to enjoy coffee and vegan ice cream at Archtop cafe and margaritas and tacos at El Jefe. Cousins Market was a short jaunt from the house as well, and had incredible produce and prepared foods. The location of Port Credit cannot be beat - we took day trips into Toronto, Niagara and the Grand River. We went to the drive-in theatre in Oakville one night which was maybe a 15 minute drive. Kevin and Laura were wonderful hosts who clearly care about their guests. It was a perfect stay!
