"We stopped overnight at this wonderful little Hotel before catching the Santander Ferry to Plymouth. The room was uprated free, was big, clean and very comfortable. The hotel is in a wonderfully decorated historic building in the center of town. A perfect place from which to enjoy Santillana Del Mar. The only point against them is that there is no coffee maker or kettle in the room. Parking available in their lot for a small charge. "

"This is a beautiful property in a 15th century mansion in a lovely little town. It was great to have private secure parking and the staff was so helpful. The bar was a great little spot and breakfast was delicious. There is no restaurant however and only selected options at the bar. We were there in mid-November and restaurant options in town were limited. Overall highly recommended and reasonably priced."

(Approx 2hrs) The guesthouse adjacent to the bar/cafe was warm and clean, well kept no-frills accommodation and served the purpose. "Goyo is a fabulous host and the house is absolutely beautiful. It is really well equipped and feels like a home instead of a holiday rental. The terrace is fabulous and the BBQ and it’s so quiet and peaceful. The surrounding area is stunning too. Shopping can be done in Cervera or Guardo. The former smaller and prettier. Could not recommend this place any higher/ 10/10!"
