"We had a lovely stay at Pallas Lodge, the house was amazing, with the best view ever! Pat and Kay met us on day one, showed us around the house and then gave us some ideas of where to visit on the Beara Peninsula. There was food and milk in the fridge for us for breakfast the next morning also! If you want a quiet undisturbed holiday on the wild Atlantic coast you can not go wrong here! A beautiful place, and a fabulous house to stay in! "

"This is a pretty, clean, well-stocked house on the lovely Sheep's Head peninsula. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, and the TV has Netflix. It's only a short walk to the beach, hiking trails, two restaurants, and a general store. The general store only takes cash. We had a wonderful time walking many miles in beautiful, remote surroundings. The only caution I would give is that there is very little taxi service and only one bus, so plan to bring a car if you want...

"Nellie's farmhouse is a delightful home. Very roomy and well thought out flooplan. The farmhouse overlooks rolling fields on one side and Bantry Bay on the other. The home is outfitted with all the things anyone would need for an enjoyable stay and less than 5 minutes from the small village of Durrus. The host, Anna, is very friendly and responsive to any questions or needs."

"Damien and Niamh were amazing hosts, and the home is everything and more! Travelling with handicapped parents is never easy, but the two made my father-in-law's stay comfortable and simple -- Damien went so far as to build a temporary ramp on the back patio to allow the wheelchair easy access. We were at Beechwood for a month, and it allows both the space of a larger home, with the cozy feel of a small cottage. It's a 5-minute walk to the local pub, with rocky beaches and standing stones just a...
