"Beautiful property, great breakfast. Our stay was spoilt be being asked by the owner to check out two hours earlier than advertised, ie at 10am, so beware if you are checking out on Sunday. We felt we had no choice but to comply - it should not have been like that. In the rush to vacate our rooms we forgot we had to pay cash, rather than the credit card details given on booking. The owner was understanding about this and we settled the bill remotely by bank transfer. So, a good and bad...

"Big room in a quiet old manor/estate. A bit hard to find, google did okay however the entrance was not signed very well. Stairs to room, good breakfast and quiet area. Grounds are dated but the house is clean and spacious. Host was helpful offering maps of the area and ideas for restaurants. "

A hiccup with finding the place but this was due to address on this website being wrongly listed by the tourist office as the road name had been changed. "Great cozy guesthouse, situated right in the center of Aveiro. Fine common space with a kitchen you can use (there is a refrigerator too). Nice room with a comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom. Delicious breakfast in the morning, which you can eat in the sunny patio. Overall - great at this price."
