"Booked us into room 14 which was cold. Spoke to reception who informed me that there was no heating in this room. Told them that we could not shower bathroom freezing and to sleep would be too cold. Very good and we got transferred to room 109 which was lovely but found out cold tap Didn’t work. No a hassle for us and room wax warm. Breakfast great and staff are friendly and helpful"

"DO NOT BOOK. We turned up, having paid via Expedia, only to be told they don't actually have rooms to book. I don't know if this is a scam as the email confirmation said that there was no Front Desk so ring in advance to confirm booking... Lord alone knows who would be picking you up and taking you someplace else. The owners either have no idea or are up to something, but DO NOT BOOK, there's no accommodation here, and it's potentially dangerous. Expedia need to wipe this one from their...

"Unfortunately this hotel is due to close down . We have stayed here on a regular basis as I have been studying at the nearby Hadlow college. Very friendly staff and always a comfortable stay with a lovely breakfast. Such a shame it is closing "
