"The welcome was warm and personal. Beautiful period property, everything is of really high standard, with such attention to detail. "Love Aviemore so booked the Spey valley lodges. The lodges are starting to look quite run down, especially the outside with peeling paint. The inside is a little dated but was clean enough. One of the single beds had no bottom sheet on it and a dead spider lying between blanket.Obviously this bed was not made up fresh. Check in is 5pm and checkout was 10am I find this utterly ridiculous. I did enjoy the onsite restaurant and bar. Staff were nice. I would come again but not at the prices they...
