"Beautiful location, overlooking the River Exe, our room was excellent. The Staff were lovely & friendly a special mention for Chelsea, who seemed to be working every hour of every day! Plus the twins, Hannah & Kate, who served us. Only down side for me was the selection of beers and the prices of drinks & food. Though, the bar & restaurant were always busy."

"Everything about our stay was fabulous and Crossways Inn is now on our radar when we want to spend extra time on our holiday in Cornwall. The food deserves a mention, delicous, locally sourced produce perfectly cooked - both dinner and breakfast. The room, bed, shower, air con, decent size coffee cups all made our stay extremely comfortable. This was the best stopover experience we have had - thoroughly recommend!"

"4 of us stayed at the Carew Arms for one night to break our journey. The best description is that there is no attempt to disguise or mask the pub's age or history, which is a definite plus. It has the feel of a pub that has stood at the heart of the village for 5 centuries, and still serves it's local community as it always has. The food is simple but hearty, and the snug bar is comfortable, with some excellent local ales. Recommended!"

"We were greeted warmly on our arrival. Everything was explained in a friendly but professional manner. We were taken up to our room which all wasn't huge was comfortable with a tea tray and kettle. The bathroom was gorgeous. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well organised and nothing was too much trouble for Colette and the team . The property is away from Butlins with a lovely walk either way out the property. It's very quite here. "
