Disliked: Room comfort
Positives first, this is a very cost effective place to stay. And the neighborhood feels very traditional, not another tourist in sight the entire time we were there, but the people were friendly and helpful. Groceries are very close. It is very quiet, except for road noise in the morning if that bothers you. Now for some negatives. Check in is not easy, as this is an apartment with no front desk, which also means you can not ship your luggage there and will have to take it on the subway with you. The staff is easily accessible by email however, and promptly respond. The beds are rock hard, literally the hardest I have ever slept on, but so was the bed at the hotel by Disneyland, so this may just be the way of things in Japan. My biggest complaint is the “bathtub” There is NOT a bathtub. You can not fill this with water, as it directly flows out the tub and down the floor drain. Also, it is literally the size of a cardboard box. Next negative, is the distant to most tourist sites. We spent hours on the subway each day to see the major sites. The subway is very convient and easy to use, but the journey is far from this location.
