The place is beautiful, by the lake, we stayed one night after driving for 16hrs to get there, so we were tired. The issue with the fridge and mini split...is they are LOUD, and could not fall asleep

Right on Lake Superior. Can walk 20 steps out the patio, and are on the shore of Lake Superior. Great sunrise and sunset! Excellent lake air. Cozy and comfy one bedroom with all the amenities including a big soaking jet tub, fire place, rotating rocking chairs, windows with shades facing the lake. Everything was perfect!

The king suite with a jetted tub was amazing. The views, the room, cleanliness, amenities, were all top notch. Room service was incredibly fast and burgers were delivered and delicious (5 stars!)! Ribeye steaks (2 stars) were ok in person at the Bluefin Grille, pickup a local cut of steak and grill it yourself on the grills at the property! Everything else about the property was great. Very cozy. Will be returning to the Surfside location in the future!

North Shore Birthday Trip
I absolutely loved this resort and I cannot wait to visit again. I wasn't able to make it there my first booked night due to weather and they were kind enough to not charge me for that night. The room had tons of natural light and gorgeous views of Lake Superior. The lady that was working at the Guest Services desk was very kind and gave good tips on the sights to see in the area. The location was great - lots of good hiking trails and waterfalls nearby. The food and service at the Bluefin Grille were also excellent. This place is a nice slice of paradise on the North Shore!

Great stay, beautiful views from our room right on the lake! The room was super clean, had a wood burning fireplace with wood already stacked ready to go! Free use of snow shoes was a plus as we went hiking both days, and my daughter loved the complementary hot chocolate at guest services. Only suggestion would be our superior suite which had two separate rooms, only had one tv in the main bedroom. It would have been nice to have another tv in the other room as well, but we made due! Overall great location, property and views!

Great location. Very nice place. I was frustrated that I booked on Expedia with my American Express card which I use for all my travel needs and they called me back 3 times telling me that I had to pay with a Visa. I took the time to call the back and give them what they requested but I question why a hostility spot in the USA would not take beloved American Express?

Quiet. Peaceful. The linens were excellent quality! We had lots of towels, and cosmetic towels🙌. They space was private and perfect for the four of us. Beautiful sunrise! We had 4 porches/decks with chairs to relax in. Space for computer work, space to rest, cook, stretch out, dine, breakfast seating too, easy, quiet. Plenty of parking, and the grounds were nice. We had everything we would need to cook if had chosen to. *next trip, we will stay longer, cook in and enjoy the decks more!

Nice place , could use better communication.
If you stay at surf side and show up for check in after 6:00 p.m. there is no directions stating that you need to drive to a different location to check in. Also no one answered the phone on the add so thankfully we found a person who guided us on where to go. Had it been later and no guests where around we wouldn’t have know what to do.
