Forest Edge Cottage-short drive to all beaches

This two-bedroom home is situated in a peaceful residential area of the Clayoquot Biosphere in the remote town of Tofino. Just a five-minute walk away is the renowned Chesterman Beach. A short 450 metre stroll down a forested lane takes you to an ocean inlet viewing platform in the Wilderness Bird Sanctuary. If you're looking for some local amenities, a mere five minutes away you'll find Chocolate Tofino, Live to Surf, and Tofitian Coffee. Your private backyard is situated amongst rhododendrons and rainforest, and it's the perfect place to relax and enjoy some outdoor activities like BBQing or playing a game of botchy ball.

On the inside, you'll enter the home through a galley-style kitchen, which is equipped with all the necessary cooking essentials. Just off the kitchen is a dining table that can seat up to four people. The cozy living area has plenty of comfortable seating and offers a stunning view of nearby old growth trees. Both of the bedrooms have queen-sized beds with closets and windows overlooking the private backyard. The bathroom, which is located between the two bedrooms, has a bathtub and shower combination. An outside shower is available to wash the sand off of toes for those that have enjoyed the beach.

Please note: due to the home insurance there can be ONLY 4 guest max.(including infants/babies) in the property. Please do not book if you have more than 4 (bodies) in your reservation. Sorry no pets allowed-very strict.



During peak summer season (June 15 - Sept 15), 3 night minimum and all bookings must be back-to-back to avoid gaps.

No smoking or vaping inside or outside the property, the insurance doesn't allow any smoking on-site.

Strict Quiet Hours: 9pm to 8am Monday to Friday and 10pm-8am Friday- Sunday. This residence is in a quiet neighbourhood which keeps within the District of Tofino Noise Bylaws

Accidental Damage Protection: The occasional accident is bound to happen during your holiday. The ADP covers accidental damages of up to $1000, provided damages are reported to Tofino Vacation Rentals before your check-out in writing. The ADP is a mandatory fee of $10 per night that is included in your nightly rate.

Cancellation Policy: We offer a 30 day cancellation policy from September through June and a 60 day policy from July through August. If you provide us with the 30 or 60 days required notice you will receive a full refund (minus a $73.50 non-refundable processing fee). If you cancel without the required days notice you will not receive a refund for your reservation.
