"The hotel is in the perfect location - near to the train station and the city centre. Our room was a good size, bed was comfy, and there was a kettle for making tea and coffee, which was great. The only downside to our trip was the swimming pool and sauna were closed for renovations...and we had booked the hotel especially to use those facilities. "

I read many travel blogs about Freiburg, and they all seemed to imply finding modern lodging in Freiburg was fairly difficult, and hotels are kind of my thing. This hotel was in prime location for getting in and out of Freiburg, walking distance to Old Town (I arrived on Rosenmontag - had no clue). Staff was VERY NICE, hotel was clean, and the room was quiet. "
