6033 Boardwalk · Double Decker Lakefront Gem

Enjoy a picturesque view of Lake Carobeth from either of your two decks in this lakefront chalet. This reverse-layout lakehouse has direct lake access with a private beach to your own dock, paddleboat and two kayaks. Sit outside and relax by the firepit and watch the sunset, or better yet, from the hot tub. Minutes to Kalahari, Mt Airy Casino and golf course, Camelbank Mountain and hiking at Tobyhanna State Park or Big Pocono State Park.

This vacation home has a reverse layout. The kitchen, one of the living area and dining area are on the top floor giving you the best view of the lake while you dine. There's also the master bedroom and bathrooom on the top floor. The First floor has a separate living room and remaining two bedrooms and bathroom.

The entire house is set up for your pleasure.
Pocono Country Place is a gated community with amenities. The basketball and tennis courts, playground and beach access are all free. The community pool is $5 per adult and $3 per child per day and not included with your reservation.

Your host will be available to interact during your stay.

Pocono Country Place is a beautiful gated lakefront community in the Pocono Mountain Region.

You can walk and bike in the community. Car is likely necessary to reach the community center and any other shopping

The great escape!
Everything about this place is perfect. The house, location, the water. Plenty, plenty of fish if you enjoy fishing, I pulled a few 4lb Bass while using the kayaks, pedal boats, and canoe. The lake water is immaculate. The house is super clean and comfy from the kitchen, and bathrooms to the outside amenities. If you are looking for a family-friendly place to escape the crazy life, this is it.

Great for family
Be prepared for long check in at the gate but after that the house was in a great location. Perfectly set up for kids and plenty of toys and tvs. Beach area was great and the boats came in handy. Community has some great amenities. Pool is pricey at $12 per day per person for kids over 2 but was very nice for one day and has a a lunch spot. Overall great experience. Highly recommend staying!

I'll be back .
We've been coming to the Poconos annually for 16 years. It took awhile to find a place we would come back to. Finally did . Unfortunately the owner sold. Have been looking for another such rental for the last 3 years. We found it here. Have no complaints. Great for adults and/or kids. Owners very responsive. Give it a try see for yourself. You will not be disappointed. See ya next year.

Great space, small changes needed
We stayed with family including 8 and 5 year old. Great location and space! As someone who reads reviews to make decisions I wanted to share some Tips: 1-lots of toys for the kids, my 5year old loved them 2-no closet or dresser in the kids bunk bed room 3-the towels provided are great for kids, but too tiny for an adult esp a fuller sized one 4-reminder that it’s a reverse layout so the kid room and another bedroom are downstairs leading out to the yard 5-lots of life vests for the boats 6-there were some deer that passed by us that we got to feed, so sweet 7-3 TVs in the house which was great to keep everyone entertained 8-everything is pretty far but I think that’s par for the course for the area. So expect to drive 15-20mins to restaurants and activities. Aquatopia is about 25-27 mins. 9-I’m not sure if you or how you get food delivered to your doorstep because there’s a very strict policy getting into the area. You need to register your vehicle. 10-the view was beyond amazing!!! We went in early April and it was very cold. We underestimated the cold so we were not prepared. Make sure you bring some hoodies and check the weather for this area ahead of time and deduct some degrees due to the water. North east is so unpredictable. One of the boats was broken but since it was so cold we only used 1 boat once. But we chose this place partly for the boats so check in with the owner first. 11-along those same lines, the fire places didn’t work either. I think something happened with the prior guests but they didn’t let the owner know. I would ask them to make sure they work before arriving. Great place, would stay again!
