"Two factors made our stay at this house so memorable: 1) The house sits on the beautiful island of Stegesund (no cars, only a small dirt road) that overlooks gorgeous water just outside of the town of Vaxholm. The July sun bathes the house in warm light all day long. You get the benefit of feeling away from the city while only being a 5 minute ferry/boat ride away from Vaxholm. "Super nettes kleines Häuschen, direkt am Wasser gelegen mit Paddelboot. Gute Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter, der jederzeit Fragen beantwortet. Man wohnt im Prinzip auf seinem Grundstück unterhalb seines Hauses. Die Hütte hat alles, was es bin für einen Urlaub braucht. Die Lage direkt am Wasser ist wirklich malerisch und besonders. Bis zum nächsten Supermarkt ist es ohne Auto allerdings etwas weit, aber mit dem Bus nicht unmöglich. Wir haben nach dem dritten Tag ein Auto gemietet, hatten das...

"We were a family group of 10 and had plenty to do and plenty of space on the property. The game room, 2 pools, and, of course, the lake kept everyone busy. Numerous restaurants and grocery stores are nearby. The host, Johan, is amazing and very helpful. All in all, a 10 out of 10 property!"

"Wir hatten ein schönes gemütliches kleines Häuschen am See. Die Ruhe und der Ausblick über den See waren stets atemberaubend. Es steht ein Ruderboot, ein Kanadier und ein SUP zur Nutzung zur Verfügung. Was wir auch auf dem See genutzt haben. (Motorboot hatten wir nicht genutzt). Das Häuschen ist gemütlich und hat in der Küche alle Utenslien. Seifen/Spülmittel sind vorhanden (Toilettenpapier, Geschirrtuch selbst mitbringen). Die Sauna ist toll und die Abkühlung danach im See macht süchtig....

"Das Haus war perfekt für uns. Die Kinder hatten ihre eigene Hütte und konnten sich zurückziehen. Es war unglaublich still und man konnte perfekt zur Ruhe kommen. In 5 Minuten war man am Meer und konnte baden oder angeln. In 15 Minuten war man an der Bushaltestelle und hatte sehr gute Verbindung nach Stockholm. Ein nettes Dorf in der Nähe, sowie ein Hafen von wo aus man eine Bootsfahrt in den Schären machen konnte oder ein Kajak zum paddeln leihen."

The good things about this place: --The host was responsive and took care of any requests/issues we had --The location was pretty nice. The metro station is close and there's a small grocery store next to it. Getting into town takes a good 20 minutes and you have to pay extra to get to/from the airport, which are just things to consider when it comes to how you like to travel --The neighborhood is quiet, nice, and feels...

"Therese's home was so warm and welcoming. She was there at the house to meet us when we arrived and was responsive throughout our visit. The house was perfect for our family of 5. Each child got to have their own room with wonderful living space for us to hang out together in. The public transportation system was terrific (once we got it figured out).
