Romantic 1 bedroom cottage in beautiful Devon countryside, indoor pool, sauna

Nuthatch is a romantic one bedroom cottage with pretty four poster bed and ensuite bathroom, sleeping two people, set in the beautiful East Devon countryside, only 15 minutes drive from the M5 (J27).

The cottage is situated at Three Gates Farm, a converted 17th Century farm, with five 4 star holiday cottages, near Tiverton.

Guests have the use of a large, warm, indoor swimming pool (run on a rota system), sauna, fitness room, children's play areas, 12 ft trampoline, laundry facilities, enclosed pond area with ducks and friendly chickens and two acres of grounds. The cottage is single storey and has an open plan kitchen with dishwasher and microwave and lounge area with flat screen television with freeview, DVD and video player, telephone and free WiFi Internet access.

Nuthatch has oil fired central heating and a log burner too, which makes this attractive cottage a cosy retreat for two. Cots and highchairs are available on request.

We are pet-friendly and welcome well behaved dogs, for which there is a surcharge of £20 per dog per week.

Beautiful rural retreat
Warmly greeted by one of the two hosts, upon our arrival by car on a cold late January day. Whereupon, basic ‘housekeeping’ details were explained. Comprehensively detailed ring-binder covered everything extensively, including: local walks, shopping delivery details, restaurants and take-away details and how to use the wood burner, with first basket of logs provided. Lovely swimming pool and sauna facilities! Nuthatch was a beautifully presented, warm and clean, very cosy cottage with a well equipped kitchen and very hot water, constantly on tap. The bathroom was spotless with a wonderful over-the-bath shower that would more than match any power-shower for pressure! Nuthatch offers ideal accommodation for two: we loved it, and simply cannot wait to book our next stay! If you’re looking for a remote, rural location to get away from it all, you will struggle to find anything to rival Three Gates Farm! The owners clearly take pride in the level of hospitality that they provide! Thank you so much, to our hosts; Jonathan and Lynn! J&S x

1 Woche schöner Urlaub
Wir haben im Oktober einen schönen Urlaub in dem cottage bei Jonathan und Lynn verbracht. Das cottage Nuthatch ist für 2 Personen ausreichend groß, gut eingerichtet und sauber. Wir haben den Pool und die Sauna jeden Abend genutzt - das hat zusätzlich zur Erholung beigetragen. Personen, die Ruhe und Erholung suchen, können wir diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.
