Smooth checkin with key code. Very cool place to stay. Comfortable bedroom with en-suite and lovely smelling soap. Well equipped kitchen if you want to do your own meals. Spar is opposite. Washer and dryer and all!
There is a big lounge and a dining room that has some games. Would be an awesome place to host a murder mystery party if your friends booked out all the rooms.

Overall it was nice, however obtaining the keys was a bit of a jaunt as they hadn't left them in the lockbox as described in the welcome email. They were in fact left on a table in the reception area which took a bit of finding, afterall, I was following the instructions they had left. Furthermore there were no towels in the room upon check-in. They were delivered to the room at 9pm that night.
Clean and refreshingly bright.
The website picture could do with replacing as the restaurant no longer exists, this was not stated at the start of my booking.
Early morning traffic and delivery noise may be a little disconcerting for some
My husband & i stayed in the Hare room which was lovely. Great communication from clare, the manager re: check in & safe covid measures to take. Excellent location with pubs & restaurants within walking distance. We went to the swan & spelt for dinner, both great recommendations.it was perfect for a 3 night break... many thanks..David & Justine
Accommodation was excellent however no breakfast available which we were not informed about until after we had paid for the room. Also strange vibe in the village regarding a certain pub and other pubs and eateries not open sunday evenings and Monday's, all a little disappointing although the room was lovely.
Nice location in a lovely village. The manager contacted me in advance to explain how to access the property as she wasn’t available to meet us at the property. When booking we were expecting it to be located in a pub with a restaurant based on the photos but that area appears to be a communal area now (not sure if this is just during the Covid pandemic or was always like this). Overall, we enjoyed staying here for the weekend.
Room too small not enough opening windows, nowhere to hang clothes other than a row of coat hooks on the wall. The bathroom however was very good.
Standard of food excellent.
We had amazing stay at the Ginger Peanut with great accommodation, an up market chef and old world village surroundings, it doesn't get any better than this. It was just a wonderful stay.
