"Spent 2 nights at Knox Hotel. There was a booking mixup that owner tried to fix a month ago, but we missed the communication. They worked out a fix and gave us a price adjustment due to different rooms..very willing to work with us. Hotel is not mobility friendly—1-2 steep stairs, but rooms are charmingly restored with historic furnishings. Great Cafe Grace just across street, and wonderful shops/wine bars/bistro/pizza too. Keurig in hallway, no ice or onsite restaurant. Ear plugs and eye masks provided (hall light shines through high transom, and trains just 1/2 block away blow horns throughout the day (not so much at night.) Interesting and comfortable stay. Hotel is continuing to add rooms so check back!"

"Great place. Great for small romantic stay or whole family stay. Property was just as advertised. The only trouble we had was finding the place. We got in the first gate and then based on the instructions it sounded like it should be right there but it wasn’t. We had to call the owner to get the rest of the directions. They were very receptive and even though it was late when we were getting there they were kind and helpful. They should just include that last part of the instructions on the initial check in instructions. Overall a beautiful spot on the river and the cabin was very nice."
