Lovely four bedroom house with spectacular panoramic views of Cornwall coastline

The Old Chapel is a lovely traditional Cornish family house with stunning panoramic sea views. Five minutes drive to the beautiful local beach, Trebarwith Strand and nearby beauty spots like St Nectan’s Glen, the house can sleep ten people or would also be a cosy retreat for just for two.

Built over 200 years ago, Old Chapel House sits in a commanding position overlooking Tintagel (home to King Arthur's Castle) and has a panoramic view of over 15 miles of the spectacular North Cornwall coast. The views can be enjoyed from the large terrace and throughout the garden, and inside the sea can be glimpsed from almost every window. The floors are original slate and both living rooms have large fireplaces with woodburning stoves. Fifty years ago the house was extended to provide a light and airy kitchen dining area which opens direct onto the terrace and a second bathroom, pantry and utility room. Upstairs the bedrooms are all spacious with large double beds, including two super kingsize.

Recent airbnb reviews:
Absolutely loved the house and great for a big family with lots of space. It was clean and quiet with a beautiful view from the kitchen and lovely garden. James was so quick to respond to any questions. Would highly recommend and we can’t wait to stay again! Thank you :-)

The Old Chapel House is one of the best holiday spots I have ever stayed in. James was wonderful and sent me the house info in advance. The views were incredible! The house was spacious and had everything we needed. What a magical place!!!!

Old Chapel house, originally an 18th century ecclesiastical meeting house, sits on a large plot at the top of a quiet lane with a panoramic view of Tintagel and the coastline. The back garden is ideal for children of all ages, lots of space for ball games etc. The house is stylishly set out and well equipped --airy with lots of light and different spaces on the ground floor

The Old Chapel, Trenale - wow!
This is an amazing property. Full of charm and character with an outstanding view. We had amazing weather and watched the sunset every evening. It's a short walk into Tintagel and a good base for other local walks too. The house had everything we needed for a great holiday for all 8 of us plus our well behaved labrador. One son slept in the second lounge on the sofa bed and our daughter was on the floor in our room. The ground floor is mostly open plan but the space worked well for us . Greaybto have ncie bathrooms up stairs and downstairs. Communication from James was great and it was lovely having milk bread eggs and butter waiting for us. We stopped on the way down at a supermarket in Launceston as the local shops don't stay open very late. The garden is large, secure and very pretty and is a fantastic space. We made use of the firepit and the great big patio. We would definitely like to stay here again. Thank you James for providing such a special holiday home. Many thanks ...

Brilliant house, highly recommend!
Even better than the listing described! Location is excellent for exploring beaches (close and afar). Decor of house is stunning, we didn’t want to leave! Layout is excellent for large groups with bedrooms upstairs and downstairs offering different areas for dining, lounging, study and games. The garden is large and the outdoor eating space is lovely. The view (and sunset!) was an added bonus. Combination of historic house and updated kitchen and bathrooms was perfect. James was a great host, quick to respond. I’m sure we’ll be back!
