The property and staff were absolutely fantastic and helped me deal with Expedia… Expedia on the other hand was awful. I got to the hotel at 7pm to check in and Expedia was supposed to have a Virtual Credit Card already loaded for the property. They did not do that and I had to go through their AI help service for 10-15 minutes until I could finally chat with a real person. That real person then contacted the hotel, then called me and put me on hold for 15 minutes, then called the hotel again and finally got it figured out. The issue was that the bill should’ve been $94.84 and Expedia’s virtual credit card amount was for $94.86 so it was not working. They couldn’t accept it because they would’ve then lost out on $0.02!!! The whole ordeal took 48 minutes from when I should’ve been able to check in, to when I was finally able to check in. It was due to no fault of the hotel and their staff was very helpful in getting it resolved. Expedia’s customer service took way too long to resolve the issue, and it was made even worse by discovering it was due to 2-cents…
