There was an issue with the first room allocated where the heating wasn't working but the duty manager was diligent in sorting us a new room and checking it over before moving us. Room was clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was good quality and adequate. Issue for us were the bar staff in the evening were a shambles. "Had a great stay here rooms are very nice & would stay again. Only very small negative was check out time on my booking said 12pm, we had a cleaner walk in without knocking at 10:30 & then at 11:30 knocking to ask if we where leaving soon. I understand completely they have rooms to turn round & the mistake at coming in the first time I would have forgiven as a mistake but being rushed then at 11:30 it just felt like they wanted us out. "

"Overall the weekend was lovely. The staff are what made it. The main seating area is beautiful but can be draughty. The glass doors at the front door don’t really work and let a lot of cold in. The dining area is a bit of a disappointment atmosphere wise. The lighting too bright, the chairs are awful. It should be more like the red seating area which seemed to be kept for private functions.
