"The rooms were in an excellent location and were both comfortable and clean. I just don’t feel comfortable with remote checkin. I like having someone on site. That is my personal taste and the reason I didn’t give it a perfect score."

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Location was a little difficult to find but staff was a great help. Free parking, no AC, and no elevator so luggage must be carried up stairs. "

"location is close to center. but no parking place available. it was difficult to find parking place and needs to put money several times to parking lot which was 5 min walk. if you are lucky , maybe can find a place in the street in front of the hotel. room was very nice and clean. but the common area had no drinking water and the coffee mashine wa not cleaned and the filter with old coffee was allover molded. bring your flashlight if you want to go back at night as the light at the gate has a...

"It was ok for the price we paid. There was some complications trying to contact the host to arrange check in but we got in ok on arrival . Room was ok, quite basic , no facilities to make a hot drink. There was not much loo roll provided for 2 nights Relying on public transport, it was a fair walk to town on rough path right by main road "

"The walls are very thin and you can hear everything from the other people staying there. The floor upstairs is the ceiling of your room and you hear every step and all the sound echos. The stairs are very loud. Also, there is NO A/C. The room is good and the bathroom is big and clean, but the noise is too much. The host told me to go outside on the terrace to cool off. "This place is absolutely beautiful and is in a very lively part of town, which is part of its charm. The only real "issue" we had was that the water would go from freezing cold to scolding hot while you're in the shower and it got my back pretty good! Parking is about a 10 minute walk away in a place called the Prinz Gregor hotel and if you get the mountain view room (which faces the front of the hotel with a balcony) there can be a bit of noise since we were directly in front of the main town...

"The apartment is beautiful. Just like in the pictures. It's close to the old town, so lot of shops are available with a short walk. Parking can be difficult during the day, but we found it was like that anywhere close to the old town. After 8 pm more paking spots become available close to the flat. I would recommend this flat and would come back."

"The apartment was easy to find near the Black Church. Parking not so easy on a Saturday, but we were able to unload right outside the apt so it was an easy walk back. The studio is fairly basic but more than adequate for a couple of nights. You are only 3 minutes walk from the main square in old town. Communication by WhatsApp was easy and prompt."

In more words: Customer service fit for a 7 star hotel on par with dubai's finest, from the check-in, manager and Director, i was shocked to find this in Romania where customer service is more on the lacking part. The hotel itself is a 5 star hotel. "

Really sweet digs, just off the village square

"Adding a couple days on the front of a Viking cruise, we spent a couple of days in Brasov. We prefer to stay close to downtown. I found Rossmarkt Haus on a popular hotel website. As is typically the case, finding a place to park can be quite difficult, so splurge for the optional private parking which is ~100 meters from the building, which also houses a restaurant. There are no elevators so you’ll be carrying your bags up one or two flights of stairs. We stayed in room #1, which had a big living room, separate bedroom, and a large bathroom. Wooden floors and windows overlooking the street, the living space was very comfortable. A mini-split unit covered the HVAC needs nicely. Breakfast is included, and is a choice between a hotel buffet across the street, or a la carte from the restaurant downstairs. We preferred the buffet. All-in-all, a very enjoyable stay, and one that we’d recommend if you’re going to be in Brasov. See my other reviews (Ograda and Cucinino) for places to dine. Recommended"
