Ohio Valley stay
We enjoyed our stay at this property along the Ohio River. Perfect size for two people, great location to enjoy the area around Wheeling, West Virginia. We had a great time sitting on the deck, watching the river traffic and enjoying the weather. A great stay!

Our family needed a simple and safe place to stay for my father in laws birthday. This place was warm, cozy and had everything we needed. Even though it was cold and rainy, we had a beautiful view of the river and West Virginia! We would definitely stay again when in the area!!

Perfect Couple Getaway
Cute and cozy cottage that is perfect for two people. The Ohio was running high and fast and almost mesmerizing to watch. Nice little town good for walking. Appreciated the Keurig and well stocked kitchen. Super comfy bed. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We loved the cottage! The view of the river off the deck is sensational! Loved the passing boats. The bed was very comfortable. Only feedback was the bathroom was small and dingy.

The area around the property is not luxurious by any means but that does not matter because your attention is on what is outside the expansive windows and the huge deck- the Ohio river! This little cabin is a gem. This was our second stay and we are already planning to go back. Wheeling W. Virginia is just a short drive away and there is a lot to do there if you wish - hint, a restaurant called Later Alligator is well worth a visit or two.

The little home on the river was perfect for our stay after we dropped our daughter off at college. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck overlooking the Ohio River and watched the riverboats chug by. Cozy but very charming and well appointed with everything we needed.

This quaint little cottage was the perfect get-away for me and my husband. We are elderly and it was convenient and easily accessible. The Fall colors were fantastic! We seen a couple of tug boats along the way too. It was very peaceful and very relaxing.

Easter Break
Such a cute little cottage on the Ohio River. Listing was exactly as described. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook Easter dinner. I loved all the cute decor! The deck was amazing to sit and watch the action on the river. My other favorite thing was all the board games!! We will definitely stay again!

Met my girlfriend as we both live out of state, her in Indiana and I’m in Pennsylvania. We picked equal distance for us both and found the White Cottage. The view was incredible even in the rain. It was clean and just perfect for our girls weekend!

Great little cottage on the Ohio River
The White Cottage is a great space for enjoying the river, the tug boats, and the geese. Really found the property to be quiet even though it sits behind a duplex in front. We weren't able to enjoy the deck due to the winter temps, but really enjoyed having the blinds open and seeing the water and WV hills. Would recommend.

White Cottage
Experience was great! Easy booking process, clean property, great communication from owner! No complaints, all positive. Would recommend to anyone that is going to stay in the area. Husband and I were in the area for a concert weekend at Star Lake Pavilion and this cottage was just what we needed! Not to far from venue but just far enough to have a peaceful stay.

The property had everything we needed. Very clean. Wheeling, St. Clairsville, and Steubenville are all short drives to find restaurants and things to do. Unique, industrial vibe for a getaway. Great view of River and moon/sunrise. Comfortable sleeping. Shower is a little small, but with good water pressure.

Deena was an exceptional host and very attentive to any questions i had. The bed was very comfortable although the livingroom furniture not so much....but the concept was very appealing. The location was close to many places we wanted to go while we were their, making it an ideal spot. The kering with pods, hot chocolate and tea bags was such a nice touch...... Would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a great time...very quaint and cozy and well appointed. Only one minor complaint is we had trouble figuring out the tv but we're old and that's probably our fault. Although some directions left on the table could be a good idea for the future.

Quiet and quaint
This is a cute little cottage in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean and maintained. Right up against the river, we watched the coal barges at night. Easy drive to Steubenville and Wheeling. The host was super helpful and quick to respond. Only a few suggestions/vomments... 1. Bring a can opener. That was the ONLY kitchen gadget they didn't have. 2. We were there when the temperatures were in the 30's and while the cottage was warm, it was much cooler in the living area and warm in the bedroom.
