"This is a tough review to write. A mix of good and bad. We didn't get off to a great start. We and 2 other couples arrived by ferry. walked to the property, and then waited about 40 mins to check in and weren't offered air conditioned room or a cold drink while we waited. the owner had something else (private) he needed to do, and it didn't occur to him to leave keys or instructions for us. "Stayed for 2 weeks, great views from up the steps and hill from the harbour square. We were met at the ferry and taken on a little town tour up to the studios, Livadia is lovely little town with a selection of good tavernas and a stony beach. The studios are comfy and quiet apart from some noisy air conditioning units outside causing some disturbance at night. Typical Greek studios and usual hospitality."

"Fantastische Lage mit großer möblierter Terrasse direkt an der Strandpromenade. Nebenan liegt eine nette Taverne, die auf die Terrasse liefert. Liegestühle mit gemütlichen Polster und Sonnenschirme am Strand sind inklusive und werden nur mit App. im ersten Stock geteilt. Also alles da für einen entspannten Urlaub auf einer tollen Insel. Host Pantelis ist sehr nett und wartete am Haus auf uns; die Kommunikation im Vorfeld hatte aber nicht funktioniert. Im Ergebnis aber kein Problem. "

"It would be hard to find a similar property that offers space and solitude on Tilos. There is so much to love about Tilos and Stefanakis villas makes a great base to enjoy the Island. Be aware there is a very steep hill leading to the apartments but as a car is provided this does not need to be a problem if mobility is an issue. Communication with Stefanakis was dreadful. "The house is beautiful, very well equipped and very tastefully decorated. Megalo Chorio is a beautiful, traditional Greek village and a really friendly place to stay.
