Surround yourself in the rugged beauty of the Northern Oregon Coast at this dog-friendly Netarts rental, an adorable two-bedroom, one-bathroom home at the mouth of Netarts Bay. Wake up every morning to incredible ocean views, relax in the home's inspired interior, and find the perfect accommodations for up to four guests and one dog.

You won't find a better location for coast and town activities! Pull up tasty gaper and butter clams in the bay, or explore quaint Netarts' shopping and dining, including The Schooner Restaurant and Lounge (we recommend the locally sourced 'Oysters on the Half-Shell' entree - it's delicious!). Beach access is right through the backyard - it's the perfect stretch of sand for families since it is partially sheltered by the bay and the waves are calmer.

Featuring wood accents, coast-inspired decor, and picture windows boasting sweeping views, the home's peaceful, cabin-like ambiance is just what you need to unwind and reinvigorate. Settle in during rainy afternoons for movie watching and group bonding in the living area, complete with a library of DVDs, a DVD-, Netflix-, and cable-equipped flatscreen TV, and comfortable leather couch seating for everyone. If it's particularly chilly outside, flip on the gas fireplace to quickly warm the room.

When your group gets hungry, serve up some salmon dip and crackers or a hearty homemade meal made in the well-equipped kitchen. You'll have all the cooking necessities for quick and easy meal prep, along with ample countertops and breakfast bar seating. But if the breakfast bar seating isn't enough, there's even a four-seat wooden table for meals together with your whole group. If the weather calls for it, head outside for an al fresco experience on the home's expansive deck, where you can listen to waves crashing in the near distance while savoring fresh Dungeness crab cakes paired with a fine glass of Oregon pinot.

Afterwards, why not take a sunset stroll on the beach? Uncover hidden treasures in the sand against the backdrop of a pink-hued sky, then return home to roast some marshmallows over the backyard firepit. Head back inside to connect to the WiFi for planning tomorrow's adventures, then retire to bed after a satisfying day.

Up to four guests - and one dog with a small nightly fee - will find the perfect accommodations for a great night's sleep in either of two bedrooms. There is a bedroom with a queen bed on the main level, while up a set of stairs sits a loft space with two queen beds partially separated by a wall. Each bedroom is quaint and quiet, boasting furnishings like bedside reading lamps, picture windows, and wooden desks.

Wake up refreshed, pull out a clean pair of clothes from the washer/dryer, and get ready for another day of coastal adventures. You'll find many great day trips just a short drive away, including sightseeing and breathtaking hikes along the plunging cliffsides at Cape Meares State Park (about five miles north), sampling fresh cheeses on a tour of the family-friendly Tillamook Cheese Factory (nine miles northeast), and hiking in the majestic Oregon Coast Range to Munson Creek Falls, a 266-foot waterfall about 16 miles east.

Whether you've come for some much needed rest-and-relaxation or an active weekend of exploring the many attractions around Netarts, you're guaranteed to find just what you're looking for at this charming home. Reserve your dates today for an unforgettable vacation on the Oregon Coast!

Fantastic Location
Our first reaction upon seeing the property was that it was very shabby, but had amazing views. We decided to just get in the mindset of it being a beach cabin, and not expect luxury. It seemed fairly clean until I went to turn down the bed sheets and found chunky black filth between the top and bottom sheets. Fortunately, there was an extra set of sheets, but it’s not fun changing sheets while on vacation! Having said all that, the views were wonderful, and the location was great for exploring the Oregon coast.

Great location - A little rundown
This is a cute cottage right on the beach. Beautiful location. The place, however, is a little more rundown than the pictures portray it. The kitchen cabinets and kitchen table are pretty worn and scratched up. There is a steep, narrow stairway to the bedrooms above (not shown in the pictures), with most of the wallpaper peeling off. I was a little disappointed in the overall quality of the home. But, the back deck and being right on the beach was great.

Adorable house, great view
We enjoyed our stay at this adorable, easy to find home. The view was fantastic with easy access directly to the beach. The sunsets were spectacular. We appreciate that we were able to bring our dog. The check in process was easy and the home was stocked with lots of extra sheets, towels, games, basic kitchen supplies. Very relaxing and quiet, just what we were looking for!

I wish I had this vacation for longer. The weather wasn't very cooperative but the view was amazing. I would love to come back and take advantage of the kayaking, beach and morning walks. It is a moment in heaven.

Just loved it!
I loved this place. Stayed here for 3 nights. Watched the fog roll in and out, the people and dogs on the beach. The view was fantastic. The house was cozy, decorated with all sorts of funky and fun things and just really inviting. It was very comfortable for us. It's not fancy, and I was not looking for fancy. Loved the big deck on the back and what a view. We cooked all three nights and it had everything I needed. Thank you for sharing your spot with us! I would rent it all over again given the chance.

Great Beachfront Property
My husband took our nieces to the coast for a couple days. Easy beach access (byo firewood if you want a fire). The home itself was great and as advertised. As an avid cook he said the kitchen was lacking a few amenities (only 2 cooking utensils, dish towels/drying rack, basic cooking stuff ex: oil).

Beach weekend
Great little house Wonderful location Could be perfect but for the overgrown path to the beach (I mean, it was even hard to find and the neighbors had signs that there is no access from their property) The kitchen itself is great, but the equipment is not. Especially the pots and pan. We could not make eggs in the morning, tepal coating on the fry pan is completely disintegrated (cancer causing) and two of the three other pots were burned, one so bad you could not even boil water in it. Water boiler could have been nice? The rest of the equipment was marginal. (And maybe do something about the peeling wall paper by the stairs) Other than that.... it is a lovely little house at a perfect location.

FRESH BLOOD AND SAND ON SHEETS
Everything looked great...at first. My out of state guests found FRESH BLOOD STAINS ON THEIR BED SHEETS. We knew it was fresh because it was red at first, then brown the next day. We only stayed because there was absolutely nowhere else we could get overnight reservations for 4 at the coast same night. Everyone had sand in their sheets. The BBQ was corroded with rest and residue - totally unusable. Had to search nearly 20 minutes for a fire extinguisher, which was hidden in a closet. Screen on back door was sliced near the lock, enough to put a hand through, compromising our security. The toilet seat was broken. I photo'd EVERYTHING. Called the company. They said a full refund needs to be approved by local mgt. Still waiting. NO ONE, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE, SHOULD ACCEPT BLOOD STAINED SHEETS. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

Unique property
We are frequent travelers to Netarts area. This property was on our bucket list because of location. Renter pays for location. House is okay, everything needed is available but it has been well loved. Owners have updated a few things to increase comfort. Bottom line it is one of few private homes right on beach and that is priceless these days. However there are trade-offs. If you require a bit more luxurious home with lots of amenities you might not find this your cup of tea. For us (two seniors) it was just right.

Accurate listing
I can’t speak as to beach access due to the fact that during our stay there was a significant storm. There were warnings to not be out on beaches so we were kind of stuck inside. The house is as advertised, just ok. I’m sure its great during nice weather when you can appreciate the location.

lovely view
We love this little house because the view and location is unbeatable. We love the firepit and being able to walk straight down the beach. My only complaint was there was no advance warning that the oven was not working. We planned some meals that we brought that would not fit in their replacement countertop toaster oven. We had to scramble a little bit to plan more meals. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

Cabin needs deep cleaning
It’s a second time that my family and I stayed in this cabin. We absolutely love the location of the cabin - right on the beach and enjoyed long walks and watching the sunset. Our main complaint is a cleanness of the cabin. We stayed there about four years ago for the first time when cabin just came on the VRBO market and I left review with my concerns about how dirty it was hoping VRBO will address it. Unfortunately, it got worse. On our first night we found some kind of crumbs and little garbage in our 2 beds (we haven’t used 3rd one) - obviously, bedding was not washed. We had to wash all bedding till 12 am before we went to sleep. All pots and pans were worn out, no kettle to boil the water, no iron. There is a sign on the kitchen fridge to remove shoes but floors were dirty. We found the vacuum but it was broken. Dust on the furniture- it didn’t look like house was sanitized. We had to buy toilet paper and laundry soap. My mom fall due to not enough lighting on the porch. We were not able to get TV working with two remotes. We are paying a lot in cleaning fees to be dealing with all mentioned above. There were improvements since our last stay - nice fire pit which was really enjoyable. In conclusion- it’s a cozy cabin in perfect location that needs deep cleaning including washing beds after EACH GUEST and replacement of kitchen utensils.
