Private Home in the Trees within walking distance to the Bay!

Come enjoy a quiet and romantic stay in our home on the Beautiful Oregon Coast. Nestled amongst tall trees on the edge of an estuary overlooking Netarts Bay, our home is a bird watchers paradise. From our front porch, we routinely see great blue herons, bald eagles, egrets, and ducks of all kinds that visit our estuary. A herd of at least 20 elk often pass directly by our property. You can take a short walk down our driveway to the bay and take in a view of virtually untouched beauty. You can hear the ocean at night and the frogs will sing to you as you relax in our hot tub that overlooks the estuary and bay.
You can enjoy crabbing, clamming, or fishing on the bay just a short distance from the house. Skiffs setup for crabbing and kayaks are available for rent nearby. We have a variety of rubber boots and clamming gear at the house.
If you are looking for peace and quiet in a romantic setting, this is the place to be.

** Note: $35 damage insurance is already included in the cost of your stay. If you wish to switch to the $3,000 refundable damage deposit, please let me know.
** Note: Up to 2 dogs are welcome to come! There is a $65 pet fee for the additional cleaning required after your departure.
** Note: I send out a rental acknowledgment to sign electronically after a booking is made. It is very straightforward and simple, but if you would like a copy of the contract beforehand, just let me know! :-)

Home away from home
A very nice house in a very fine location, clean, quiet and comfortable. The deck, hot tub and fire pit are great places to spend the evening looking out over the marsh. Lots of birds, frogs, bats and other wildlife around. We've stayed here 4 times and look forward to more in the future.

Lovely home for my husband and me as well as our friends visiting from Cincinnati.The property was equipped with all the amenities we needed- well equipped kitchen, hot tub,and crab boiler. Would highly recommend. Property manager was quick to answer questions. Great location-quiet yet close to the bay.

Always the Best
We have been coming to the Netarts House for Iq guess about five years now. Everytime our stay is amazing. This past time we once again enjoyed the view from the hot tub, collecting clams and crab in the bay and cooking delicious seafood dinners in the well equipped kitchen. The only thing we don't like about the house is having to leave. Cannot wait for our next trip back.

Very homey place, loved it!
House has everything you'll need. I really loved how the garage space was open for use. That really helped bringing luggage through it. I need a couple of tools during our stay, and they had a small tool roll away toolbox in the garage that had what I needed. Bird sanctuary for sure! White Cranes or Herons were everywhere in the ponds and waterways in front of the house. They tree up at night and are fun to watch. Over 20 of them. Not much in the "Beach" department at all, but that's not what we were looking for. Went to Rockaway for that action. I liked being so close to Tillimook and bar/restaurants in Netarts. Nice towels and linens too! Would definitely recommend.

Cute house with great view for birdwatching and more
Cute, clean house with lots of extra linens, beds were comfy with great pillows and Hot tub was the cleanest we’ve ever experienced. The view from the porch was wonderful even during our super stormy stay; we saw lots of different birds. We did have a couple things we had to contact the rental company about during our stay and they were on the ball trying to resolve it for us.

Fantastic Location
Great private location. Quick walk down to the bay. When the tide is down, you can get a good long walk in on the sand. Very little traffic and everything in the house functioned as it should.

Our family had a fantastic stay; as we always do. Enjoyed the view of cranes, blue herons and the bay from the comfort of the hot tub. Harvested some fresh cockles from the bay for a delicious chowder. We also gathered some fresh blackberries during walks with the dog. All in all, a wonderful time..

A Peaceful Delight
Great location. Surrounded by nature and fresh air. Close to some great picturesque spots to explore the Pacific and all of its splendor. Sarah, the property manager, was super helpful and communicative. We, unfortunately, had car troubles, and Sarah provided a couple of recommendations. The mobile mechanic that came out was reasonably priced and was able to handle the situation skillfully and got us back on the road safely. Loved the location. Could not have asked for a better location. We loved the proximity to the bay, and hearing birds every morning , and frogs at night. Great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city! Our dog was grateful to vacation with us, as well! Would love to stay again.

This was our second visit and was just as good as the first. Lovely setting and view of a small marshy wetland next to Netarts Bay. Nice quiet neighborhood, lots of birds, comfy and cozy with the hot tub and fire pit.

Hidden amidst trees, marsh and blue heron! Clean comfy stay. If you enjoy birdwatching and rain this is the place. Beaches nearby and great seafood in town. Old home but well maintained. Definitely would return. We were there in winter.

We enjoyed our stay at the Netarts house. It was quiet, peaceful, and although there were other houses in the area, it was quite private. The furnishings were adequate, however, the kitchen could use new dish towels & cloths. The carpeting upstairs had stains throughout, and new bath towels would be nice.

Netarts vacation
The location was great, nice view overlooking a small wetland and out to Netarts Bay. Lots of Great Egrets came to preen in the trees and feed in the marsh, and many other birds were seen in the bushes and trees. The house was clean, neat, quiet and very cozy. And the hot tub was a perfect way to relax in the evening.

Peacefulness in the Trees
We had an amazing experience when staying here. Only issue was slight difficulty figuring out where the key was (confusing instructions). The view, wildlife & calm was 100% as expected. We enjoyed the hot tub and watching the sunsets. The "book" provided with details, suggestions and local information was perfect. I had no idea about clamming here, but my friend may bring her family back just for the experience, and she knows where she wants to stay! Completely random - our next coffee machine purchase had been determined. That was just icing on the cake. 100% recommend. Was clean, staff was beyond helpful and friendly & overall was as described if not more.
