If you are searching for a cozy property with ocean views, this 900-square-foot, one-bedroom daylight-basement offers the sights and sounds of the ocean from large picture windows, the patio, and the grassy yard. A five-minute walk takes you to the beach and the quaint village of Oceanside, where you will find two popular restaurants and a coffee bar.

This location is ideal for exploring the two local lighthouses, state parks, and the 'secret beach' through the tunnel at the north end of town, and for walking through the picturesque hillsides. Head to Tillamook and visit the Tillamook Cheese Factory or the Blue Heron Cafe for wine tasting, food sampling, and meandering through the unique gift shop.

Serendipity (A Happy Surprise) Unit B is a subunit. If you need additional space, please see Serendipity Unit A, which can be combined with this listing to accommodate up to 12 people.

Please Note: Cell phone services is limited in Oceanside, but it is better in Netarts. This home does include a booster for Verizon users and a landline for your convenience.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

cozy stay with gorgeous view!
This place was very charming. We appreciated the fireplace and proximity to the beach. The bed felt very unstable and shaky - perhaps a new bed frame!

Great View
Clean and tidy 1 bedroom unit. Slope from parking is a little bit steep but easily maneuverable. Oceanside is very much off the beaten path so very relaxing. Great view of the ocean and easy to get to other seaside locations.

So cute!!
The place was super adorable and a good location right by a lot of great beaches. Kitchen was well stocked, bed wasn't super comfortable but doable for the short period we stayed. Only complaint is that it wasn't super clean. Otherwise great stay!

Location was amazing. Sunset from our own backyard! But heat didn’t work in living room or bedroom and there weren’t any dish towels despite an otherwise well stocked kitchen. Also, would have been great to know there was a Keurig coffee maker in advance so we could have brought coffee for it.all of that aside, it’s a good place in an amazing location.

Amazing view, very cozy and well located
Spectacular view, basement apartment was made the best of having low ceilings and another rental unit above with tenants stomping around. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean and great, with the exception of bad non-stick pans and no non-stick spatula (and only a metal one, further pulling telfon off the pans..) The covered area with deck chairs was lovely, and view, again, awesome! the gas fireplace was cozy and warm.

Lovely location and gorgeous view
This is a really wonderful little basement apartment with absolutely stunning views of the Pacific and surrounding beach and hills, with a very short walk to the beach. The bed is comfortable and the living space is really nice and spacious, although the ceilings are uncomfortably low if you're tall (over 6 ft). I would give it a five except for a number of small details that made our experience less than ideal for a 4 day visit; first and foremost the broken window latch that kept the bathroom window pushed open an inch or so. Its a security risk and also keeps the place cold at night. Second, the kitchen lacks some basic amenities, like a frying pan bigger than a teacup, and garbage can bigger than a plastic bag. Finally, the gas fireplace does not work. Small irritations that should be attended to in order to make it a flawless experience.

Great views and location, comfortable place to stay
The things that impressed me most about the property were the great view of the Pacific Ocean out the living room windows, and the proximity (a short walk) to the public beach. I was also very impressed with the responsiveness of the property managers, Vacasa. They were very communicative before check-in, and when I called to request some necessities that were missing or broken, everything was delivered within two hours. The only real thing that detracts from this property is because it is a basement apartment you can clearly hear footfalls from the upstairs guests.

Quiet beautiful beach view
We loved this rental during our coastal road trip. It was nice to have a kitchen and laundry room available during the stay, and the oceanside beach as well as other small nearby beaches were some of our absolute favorites on the coast. Quiet, private, and gorgeous views from this spot.

Cozy and great view!
This apartment is clean and well-maintained. Most of all the views are spectacular! The neighborhood is quiet and sweet. We had a lovely two-night stay and would love to return some time.
