Come to Cape Meares and make this spacious rental your home away from home on the Oregon Coast. Revel in beautiful ocean and lake views and easy access to the beach. Great for families and multiple couples, this home also offers plenty to keep you occupied when you want to stay in and enjoy each other's company - a hot tub, Tempurpedic mattresses, and recently renovated bathrooms all combine to create the ultimate in relaxation. Both bathrooms now feature updated, brushed-nickel finishes and new LED lighting. The main bedroom’s en suite bathroom now features a spacious shower with safety grab bars and a teak seat, as well as a dual vanity. The guest bath on the main level now features a 36-inch wide bathtub and shower, also with safety grab bars, and a single vanity cabinet.

Perched up above the wetlands, this home provides plenty of opportunities for wildlife and bird watching. You'll be just a few minutes from the ocean and even closer to Cape Meares Lake, and you'll be less than eight miles from supermarkets, restaurants, and more in Tillamook. Make time to relax in the private hot tub at home – the view overlooking meadows, the ocean, and Cape Meares Lake is one-of-a-kind.

This multilevel home is designed and decorated with comfort and style in mind, all with a mid-century modern flair. After you've unpacked, unwind in the den and watch a movie on the flatscreen TV. You'll have plenty of options with the DVD library, DVD/Blu-ray player, and Netflix streaming. Or stake your claim on one of the window-facing chaise lounges in the upper level and enjoy the view. Plan your itinerary with the complimentary WiFi or find a good book from the selection and settle in for a long read. This home also has a Verizon cell phone service booster.

At mealtime, head to the completely remodeled kitchen to make all your family's favorites in the well-equipped space. You'll be set for easy meal prep and cleanup with stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher. Dine together at the large table and enjoy gorgeous water views. In the warmer months, grill up a scrumptious barbecue meal on the gas grill, and savor it on the deck.

After dinner, retire to the living room for a repose and warm up by the wood stove, or steal away to one of this home's many nooks for some alone time. Kids might like to carefully climb the ladder into the loft space, where they can play or look out the windows. There's also an area with a small desk and monitor, so bring your laptop and get some work done.

The main bedroom boasts a Tempurpedic king-size bed and a full attached bath. The second bedroom has a Tempurpedic queen-size bed. There is also another full bath downstairs. Add to that the queen-size sofa bed in the den, and this two-bedroom, two-bath home accommodates up to six guests.

For your added convenience, there's also a heated outdoor shower and a mud room for all your sandy items and clothes, and you'll have a private washer and dryer nestled in the kitchen.

If you came to the coast to relax and regroup, you'll have everything you need close at hand. When you're not out enjoying the lake or taking a stroll on the beach, you can get everyone together for a game night, thanks to the selection for kids and adults. Or make good use of the lovely yard and play a fun game of croquet (provided). Or take a repose on the deck and see bald eagles and even see the resident herd of elk enjoying the wetlands below.

And when you want to get out and explore, check out the Cape Meares Lighthouse (please note that the road south of Cape Meares is closed, so you'll need to reach it via Oceanside). Head to Bayocean Peninsula Park for some light hiking, then pay a visit to the Tillamook Cheese Factory for a tour.

Come to the Oregon Coast and make this lovely Cape Meares home yours. Place your reservation today, and start making plans!

Sunny November
A great place to stay. Clean, plenty of space, nature, comfortable. Wonderful location. You wont be dissatisfied. This was our 3rd trip to Oregon and our second to Cape Meares. If you like nature, seclusion, the convinience of a nearby town and the stunning visuals of the oregon coast you cant go wrong here. It was a short walk to the beach but had a beach view, which was perfect for a windy November. The house was very comfortable and homie with an updated kitchen, bathrooms and lots of lounge space to look out the many huge windows. Bird watchers will love the surrounding wetlands and maybe youll see some local blacktail deer. Its 5 stars, easy, and we'd go back here again. Thank you for the stay. -Texas

This house and location exceeded the description, photos, and expectations! We wanted a place with easy beach access, away from anything commercial, and a clean, comfortable house. We made use of the super clean hot tub, the outdoor grill, the grassy yard, and all the wonderful areas of the house.

Get for location kitchen and privacy beware lock code
Pros: Nice house amazing view therapedic beds if you like them. Well equipped kitchen sparkling hot tub. Nice bathrooms Privacy. Easy beach access. Cons: Check in was a hassle. The house electronic lock code didn’t work and the cell service is bad outside. Finally walked out up in the yard and the first and second code didn’t work. Ended up getting in through the emergency lock box with the key. We got there late would advise you get their earlier. Also toilet paper holders fell off and curtain rod loose. Keep an Allen wrench handy. Lots of house rules also

House was great. It was clean had plenty of room for 6 of us including 4 teenagers to spread out. Kitchen was great had everything we needed. House is in great location, secluded and close to the beach. Hot tub was a nice feature and was great. If you like being away from the hustle of larger tourist communities this is great.

You can really unwind out here.
Simply put this is the best rental property we have stayed at. The location is perfect for both seclusion and walks to the beach; the amenities are top-notch (fully-stocked kitchen and a great DVD library); the entire house is designed for maximum comfort. A perfect spot for those that want to stay in all weekend or use the house as a jumping-off point for exploring the coast. We plan to make this a yearly visit.

Amazing Location and Amenities
This was an amazing property to stay at-especially during the Age of Covid. We are a family of four with two young boys ages 6 and 8. They need a lot of room outside to run, play, be loud and be kids and this place fit the bill for that, among other things. Not having close neighbors on any side was awesome. This would be a great place to stay with another couple as well - such as grandparents who could be on the lower level. The beds were amazingly comfortable (our sons even commented how well they slept together in the downstairs bedroom) and views and the light in the house were awesome - I don’t think we ever put the blinds down. Having the two front decks, the back covered dining deck and the picnic tables were bonus for meals outside. The Guest portion of the garage supplied chairs, boogie boards, nerf launchers and croquet which we all had so much fun with. The beach was an easy two block walk away and we drove to a little put-in with our kayak to take the kids out. We saw elk in the meadow, bats while drinking wine outside at dusk and a baby male deer eating berries, all from the house. The hot tub was a bonus on the days when the marine layer stayed put and the kids loved the movies and game selections. (It was their first time playing Twister!) The bathrooms were a little funky with outdated showers but they were more quaint than anything and the master bedroom could use an empty dresser like the one in the downstairs bedroom - we didn’t have anywhere to unpack our clothes which would have been nice as we were there for 5 nights but hey, it just made packing easier when we left. The kitchen is spot on and there is a TON of counter space though a little bit lacking on some supplies we’ve come to depend on at rentals, like plastic bags, smaller Tupperware and spices, but certainly no hardship, we’ve just gotten used to not packing when we rent. Wishing this location were a little closer to Eugene but it’s definitely at the top of our list. It was great to explore Tillamook and Garibaldi - taking the kids to the lighthouse, octopus tree, tallest spruce and on the Oregon Coast Scenic Railway made for an all-around memorable place, with this beautiful house at the heart of it.

Beach getaway
Our family has a lovely experience in this home. Apparently there was a brand new hot tub, with fewer chemicals, which was fantastic! The location is amazing and so out in the middle of nowhere, yet conveniently located near groceries and forgotten items. We all felt the bedding, chairs, couches were comfy and encouraged lounging. I highly recommend this house and we hope to return.

Great relaxing getaway
This house is amazingly located in such a serene and natural spot. I didn’t think we’d be able to see the ocean, but we actually could. There’s a nice day bed before a large window that was perfect for that. The house is also SO organized. It inspired me to clean my kitchen when I got home 😂. All in all a perfect spot for a weekend.

We've stayed in Oceanside many times over the last 15 years but never knew about Bayocean by Cape Meares. Very quiet uncrowded beach. The house was gorgeous with lots of space to relax and a great kitchen. We had elk on the marsh property next door multiple times, a deer and a rabbit in the yard & lots of birds. The hot tub was great after long hikes. Our only issue was being given the wrong access code in 2 emails. Had the office been closed when we arrived it would have been a disaster. Bayocean Spit was an incredible 8.4 mile hike.

Midwest Family Happy About This Choice!
My family (parents of 17 and 20 year old daughters) loved our stay here immensely! Peaceful and private setting with views in every direction. House looks out over wetlands in front and woods In the back that chorused with frogs and birds. Outdoor fireplace, hot tub, cozy deck and sun porch, close walk to the beach, ample parking, a huge library of dvd’s, board games and books, very comfortable beds. Very well-stocked kitchen, even for entertaining with table linens and serving trays/bowls. Wish we could have stayed more than three nights!! We flew from Omaha to Seattle, left there at 1:00 and had time to get groceries in Tillamook (15 minute drive and the Safeway was open on Sunday night.) got to watch the sunset from the beach. Temps in early June were a bit chilly...lows in high 40’s and highs in low 60’s. Wind is brisk on the beach so bring layers!
