"We loved the hotel. Staff were so friendly, family duplex rooms were great, ski in ski out fabulous, breakfast was lovely, freshly baked bread every morning - the fruit one was especially delicious!! Amazing views from our balcony!!! Our only improvement would be more hanging space for clothes and hooks by the door for ski coats!"

"This is a great apartment in a perfect location to enjoy the skiing in Tignes. Several ski lifts very close by. Slightly compact for 4 but manageable. I’d like to have seen more info available about the area available inside, maybe start a guest book with tips on restaurants, pistes etc. Great stay and we’d happily return. Sara and Johnny were great who look after the apartment."

"It's situated conveniently from the busiest area of Le Lac but in a quiet corner. Excellent services and facility in the hotel and the ski shop. Food is also fantastic! We use the pool and spa everyday after a day on the ski slope. Our little boy loves it so much he didn't want to leave. I'd highly recommend it. "

"Everything is in your doorstep and ideal for kids. Most ski schools virtualy meet up outside the apartment. 3 lifts and the Gondola within 200m of the apartment. Will definitely book again. Communication with the host was excellent."

"The apartment was really lovely, with good space and amazing views. Check in was difficult. We couldn't get the keys until 4pm, despite notifying of our early arrival on multiple occasions, and going to the office when we did arrive at 10am. The apartment was clearly empty and cleaned by early afternoon, but they didn't make any effort to help. Also, they forgot the bed linen, towels and spare keys. Be aware, there is no parking at the apartment, which means you must stop the car temporarily in the busy street and then carry all luggage up a really steep drive for at least 50m. Probably would book again though, as the apartment was great."

"The hotel is just across the road from the lifts. The staff are super friendly and genuinely ask about your day having full conversations. Breakfast is an excellent selection. The restaurant downstairs is good and friendly too. The rooms are small, but the beds are really comfortable. The rooms are really clean. Its a great value place to stay. If you want flashy luxury, look elsewhere, but if you want a hotel at a good price in an excellent location to simply get some sleep, this is perfect. "

"This is a beautiful, new penthouse property in a fantastic location in Lavachet. We managed to ski in and out each day (you take skis off to cross the road). It was our first time in Lavachet and we loved the village feel of this place with fantastic restaurants on our doorstep, without needing to walk to Lac each time and a local supermarket. It accommodated all 8 adults and 1 toddler well - the only downside was the absence of storage in the bunk room (but I guess this room is intended for children). The living area worked well and is bigger than it looks in the photos. The best thing I loved about this property were the huge picture windows that brought the outside in. The reason that this review is 4/5 stars is that we had issues on checking in to the property and finding a layer of builder's dust over everything, so this had to be addressed by cleaners before we could properly check in. I'm sure this was just an oversight and would not deter us from returning to this apartment."
