Cool down at Lake Burton - Just 1.5 - 2 hours north of Athens and Atlanta! This premier mountain lake destination is located between Helen & Clayton.

This open and airy cottage is well appointed and has spectacular & gorgeous views anytime during the day, every day. Conveniently located, it is only a 20 min drive to Clayton for grocery shopping, for retail therapy at the many delightful shops, or for dining at the many yummy restaurants. You can also enjoy visiting one of the many local wineries.

This cheerful rustic-contemporary cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths with open and airy living spaces and loads of windows for enjoying the natural beauty of Lake Burton. This will become your favorite spot at this slice of heaven, called Lake Burton!
Guest access:
Guests will have access to the entire house.
Other things to note:
You can unload your boat at the close-by Murray Cove boat ramp. Recreational opportunities abound for swimming, boating, hiking, excellent fishing and picnicking. Boat plus jet ski rentals are available: call Barney at Anchorage Marina to arrange rentals.

Cool Lake Cottage
Fun stay at Lake Burton. Beautiful home. Enjoyed all lake things during our visit and relaxing in the cabin in the evenings. Great time overall.

Gorgeous Sunsets
We had a wonderful stay at this Lake Cottage. We loved watching the sunrises and sunsets on the cozy front porch. The host was supremely helpful. The lake toys and life jackets were a fun bonus.

Contemporary Cottage on Lake Burton
We all enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It is very comfortable, nicely appointed. The views of lake and breezes coming off the lake were fantastic. For our stay, the views and breeze outweighed the lack of a boat house. The secondary bedrooms are very, very small. The owners suite shares a bath with upstairs bedroom. We were with good friends so it wasn't a big deal for us, but worth mentioning because could be a disappointment for others. The the dining area opens with two french doors onto a covered deck. Unfortunately, the main seating on the deck was full of mold and mildew. Overall this was a great spot, quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay!

Great Value on Lake Burton
Lovely, well design small cabin! Beautiful views, great outdoor porch! Just know that the lake is shallow at that end of the cove. It’s helpful to have a boat.
