Lovely cabin & grounds.
Owners need to notify Expedia & other sites that due to Covid there is no breakfast. Margaret did however provide coffee & some delicious homemade muffins!
Also found out that owner has not been vaccinated!!! I would like for the safety of her guests that it should be mandatory!
We had a great weekend. Cute little cabin right on a nice fishing pond. It was quite and not far from town for dining and shopping

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
To me it was cluttered. The cats the mess the kitchen was not clean. My room was nice. I had an issue with the host on Tuesday she did let us check in early due to a evac order. For two nights Tues and Wed I got no sleep due to the guest that snored, even the guests mom says it was her son. What disappointed me was there was NO remedy offered by the host she knew on Tues I got no sleep. The house is nice but not organized. When we left the host was nowhere in sight her husband and granddaughter but not her RUDE
What an amazing place. My friend and I stayed in the cabin. It was wonderful falling asleep to frogs croaking and waking up to the sounds of ducks and a rooster. The owners were very personable and made us feel like family. The breakfast was so so good. There was a pond just outside the cabin with goats on the other side of the bridge. So cool. I would like to go back when I can stay more than one night.
Stayed three nights here. Owner was very friendly. Room very clean, and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. They have on-demand hot water, so that is a little different, but it’s easy to manage. Parking is tight and upon my first arrival, it was a bit difficult to find exactly where to pull in. Bed and breakfast a bit of a misnomer, as there really isn’t any breakfast, but Barb, the owner did offer to fry me eggs when I was leaving one morning, but didn’t want her to go to the trouble. She’s a wonderful, friendly woman who has a great stay for a reasonable price.
What a cool place! Margaret was so nice! She had a big list of local restaurants to go to, which we did, and it was very good. 41st and Main, I believe was the name. The cabin itself is really neat. It’s very big, and the pond outside and just the whole area is just gorgeous and so relaxing! I wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Oh, and the breakfast Margaret made us was just delicious, especially the cheese and jalapeño grits!!
As first time bed and breakfast goers, Margarette, her husband Hank and the multitude of wonderful animals that surrounded the property made this trip a truly one of a kind vacation! We got the chance to experience both the cabin by the lake and the room apart of the main house, and both were comfortable, cozy and the decor was gorgeous. We are absolutely returning for another visit! Thank you for your superb hospitality, oh and let's not forget Margarette's delicious home cooking! Words really can't fully describe this amazing experience. Till next time! -Alaura and Luis

We stayed at the Shalom House Bed and Breakfast this past Friday and loved it. The accommodations were very comfortable & welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the rooster & seeing the goats grazing across the pond from us. The innkeepers were very pleasant & we will visit again on our next trip through the area!

It was like staying with family (family you like)! Hank and Margaret made us feel right at home. We had an unintended trip after Hurricane Matthew decided to roll through, and we stayed here on our way back to Florida. We hope to be able to make a trip that will take us through Tifton again, if only so we can stay here and enjoy the home-cooked breakfast! Highly recommended.

We were encounter north. From Florida. This was a terrific overnight spot with super great breakfast in a very quiet, peaceful place to sleep. We were in the leopard room

Shalom House truely means peacefull place to stay.
Very peaceful country cabin located on a pond - away from it all ! We enjoyed the quiet and restfulness. Enjoyed coffee in the cool morning overlooking the pond and watching the goats. Breakfast by Margaret with her granddaughter was divine ! Fresh fruit and honey followed by waffles topped with blueberries and homemade whipped cream ! YUM !!! We would like to return during the summer to do some fishing. This cabin has a full kitchen, a queen size bed on the main floor, beautiful fireplace, and twins and a double in the loft.
