"Lovely place and a great value. The staff was very kind, and the breakfast was tasty. Nice hot shower and nearby to a great restaurant. Only downside was the wifi didn't reach to our cabina-- only in the cafeteria area. "

"Bill and Rosalee are lovely hosts! Very helpful and welcoming.We had a very relaxing stay. The connection with the local culture and foods was top-notch. Warm, engaging, friendly and helpful! Local artist Martine has some amazing art pieces.We ate at Chumis and could not have felt more welcomed by Mirta, the proprietor. Lots of joy and love! Great Tacos Camarrones at Dalis as well. A most needed getaway!"

"Messed up my reservation, didn't let me know. Lost a night for which I wasn't refunded although they offered to, and amenities were not at all as described in Expedia. There's no TV signal, TVs not pre-connected to wifi, no info on the password, gave me pass 3 options none worked. Pretty pics that don't live up to the actual experience. I'm never coming back."

"Al contanctar al anfitrión para pedirle la dirección y demás indicaciones para el uso de la cabaña, él no tenía ni idea de que habíamos reservado, cuando ya hasta se me había generado el cargo a la tarjeta de crédito!!! "If you want to be mire ir less off the geid in the mountains with spectacular views, this place is great. We made the trip in a small Hyundai, but I would recommend a car with a little more clearance if you have it. Views are amazing and the place is super quiet. Greay patio to enjoy everything."

"We loved this property and I only wish we had more time. The host and the caretaker were responsive. Excellent bird watching in the mornings. Fresh guava to eat off the trees. We had two dinners at the farm next store and they were delicious! A lovely stay and my only wish is we had more time. Ricardo was super friendly and very helpful. A bit tricky to find but excellent directions. I hope to go back some day."

"I stayed a couple of nights with friends, we only wanted a place to talk, play board games, cook some food and relax. This property was perfect for all that, with plenty of sitting areas. The bathroom was very nice, with plenty of space for large groups. The property was very clean and with a nice view. The only 2 things I will recommend the host to update are the couches (maybe a deep clean), they look dirty. The second thing is the futon (this was the 3rd bed), I slept there and it was not...

"Property manager never showed up at the house to let us in. No response to emails or voice messages. After 6 emails and two voicemails I am still trying to get a refund. Avoid this place. Bad mgmt."

"The house was well maintained and comfortable (we didn't spend a lot of time there, but the kitchen was well appointed, beds were comfortable) and the location was perfect for hiking Volcan Barva and starting our CR trip. The only issue we had was with the management company, Vacasa, who didn't communicate our arrival to the house manager, but otherwise it was perfect."

"I’ve stayed here many times, the experience is always excellent. The staff is very professional and accommodating. Especially at the breakfast buffet, they are Muy bien! The property is in a very safe area of San Jose, Escazu. There’s two pools and a fully equipped exercise room. I highly recommend this place. "
