"The bedroom was ok, but bathroom left a lot to be desired, less than a third of a toilet roll no spare, no glasses glass or plastic to clean your teeth, bath panel cracked, toilet needs a lot of bleach in it for it to be clean, soap dispenser in shower not working. Had a shower went from nice warm water to cold. Bed was comfortable and nice white towels. Room 4 right above the bar can be noisy would we stay again? No."

Given advice on where to eat for the evening (I chose the pub within 15 min walk). "The Barleycorn is situated in the middle of a village, and it was lovely to listen to the wood pigeons burbling/cooing through the window. The rooms are not above the pub, but behind, and consequently quiet; ours was nicely furnished and the bed/mattress comfy. The owners are enthusiastic and welcoming. The main disadvantage to the location concerns traffic, such as Macdonald's lorries, that seems to race along the road: it makes finding somewhere to safely walk the dogs a little...
