"Overall good experience. I would stay again and I would recommend it for the price range. We went to Jack Frost skiing and tubing for the weekend. As advertised, there are decent fees associated with cars and per person. So just keep that in mind when booking."

"We had a lovely time staying Christine and Shawn’s home. The amenities within the community are great. Hawley is a 15 minute drive away and has a great small town feel with loads of antique shops. There are some good hikes near by and the lake is beautiful. We had trouble trying to fit everything into one weekend. The house is clean and cozy and Shawn and Christine send you loads of info and recommendations making the trip easy and enjoyable "

"Very pretty, very cozy, had everything we needed was nice and warm fire place already lit as we walked in,, lots of places to eat and a lots of kitchen tools plan on trying out the summer great view of the frozen lake we didn’t try but we watched family’s play on the lake very beautiful the whole experience "

"Went up with my husband for our 3rd anniversary. The property is very quaint and clean and super private. Everything we needed was in the house for cooking. It was perfect. We had a great time. "

"Group of friends all stayed for the weekend and we were impressed by the tidy and cleanliness. The bed linens were hotel style and clean. The shower towels were neatly rolled and toilet paper stamped by a clearly professional cleaning service that had come through.Had very few “issues” such as a leaky faucet etc I made the host aware but had no impact on our stay. "The house had everything we needed for our family of 5 to be comfortable and was in a great spot with a beautiful yard to chill at the house or go hike nearby. It smelled a bit musty and we needed to take allergy meds for our dust/mold allergies BUT we loved the spot so much we didn’t care. We didn’t expect it to be new and perfect so that was fine, it was accurate to the listing. "

"Beautiful home and convenient to the ski hill. Game room downstairs was great for the kids. Coffee bar was well stocked. Appreciated the snow shovel and salt, since it snowed while we were there. There is no dishwasher (listing says there is one); not a dealbreaker, but would’ve been nice to know in advance so we could bring paper plates and plastic utensils. The double doors in the kitchen and basement lock, but you’re able to pull them open them because there’s no latch to the door frame....

"We had a great time. The house is spacious, very well equipped and clean. We enjoyed the ping pong, had mini tournaments every night. Beds are very comfy, TV is in every room. Big deck - had most of the meals there. Used the fire pit almost every day (few rainy evenings). Very peaceful. Thank you for lovely stay."

"Property was beautiful on the exterior. Great view of lake, beautiful grounds around property. Easy access to bring items in to house.Interior was awesome. Everything you need to cook and clean. Rooms were all clean. Entertainment on televisions was easy to use. Couldn’t ask for a better experience and would highly recommend this rental."

"This was a really fun house to stay in, perfect for our group which included 3 families--parents and kids. It had all we needed.A few things were challenging: the gated community the property is located in was a pain to get into and the vibe felt weird to us. It was not easy communicating with the management company when we needed to change the roster of who was coming. The driveway was too steep and icy for my little Prius to climb when we arrived so I parked on the street, and got a ticket...
