Three bedroom/three bath resort style home with saltwater pool and spa

This popular Three Rivers Vacation Rental offers three casual resort-like vacation homes designed for comfort and privacy.
Our location is perfect for those wishing to be surrounded by vibrant greenery with views of the river, trees, mountains and hills, yet walk two blocks for restaurant dinners, grocery store, bank, post office and local beauty spa. We are also 10 minutes from the Sequoia National Park Gate Entrance!

The three bedroom villa sleeps 6 with three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and has a large saltwater pool (unheated) and large heated saltwater spa just steps off of the home. The pool and spa is situated off of this house and private to this vacation home. Each home Is built and oriented for privacy.
This home has a large radius floor to ceiling bookcase, two large screen tvs, and amazing views to the outdoors. Each bedroom has high quality bedding, and bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals, to be enjoyed at the large vintage farm table just off of the pool.

The large common green area rolls into the former golf course, which is out of play and had become part of the riparian habitat with deer, and other wild life, with sweeping expansive views. The Kaweah River borders the third fairway that borders this property. Located minutes from the Sequoia National Park Gate Entrance at Ash Mountain, the grounds are a lush one acre and boast some of the Sierra Nevada foothill's largest and oldest Valley Oaks. The property grounds were included in a select group of gardens for 'The Hidden Gardens of Three Rivers Tour.' California native plants abound along side a diverse lush landscape. The site is literally surrounded in mountain greenery with sweeping views of the Sierra Nevadas, providing an ideal environment for relaxing and playing. The golf course is not currently in play.

Watch the Great Blue Heron fish the river, or listen to an evening opera of hundreds of red wing black birds flocked to the adjacent wild life riparian habitat. Spot bobcats, wild hogs traveling the golf course (really), or the special siting of an American bald eagle soaring high over. You will be in the middle of quiet pristine nature, yet conveniently just a two block walk from local restaurants and The Village Market.

After a vigorous day of hiking the near by National Parks of the Sequoia and Kings Canyon, guests enjoy the salt water pool and party size heated salt water spa. Spend an evening under the stars, cook s’mores in the patio wood burning fireplace and enjoy the heated spa. Three Rivers 'dark sky' policy makes this site ideal for stargazing.

A private two car garage secures your vehicles, and your front door is accessed by a combination lock, which is provided before arrival, allowing you to arrive and depart at your pleasure.

These custom accommodations and grounds were designed and built by our family in a style conducive to comfort and privacy. These vacation homes are a secluded three unit resort style complex on the Out of play golf course enjoying spacious grounds and individual home privacy. If you have a party or family requiring more space, arrangements can be made to book both villas together. The site has spectacular Sierra Nevada mountain scenery, with views of Moro Rock, Three Rivers Golf course, and Kaweah River. Artists, ranchers, writers, and a bit of Hollywood, make Three Rivers unique and fun to explore. Stay here and enjoy!

Traditional arrival and departure times are arriving at 4 o'clock and departing at 11 o'clock to allow for cleaning. If possible early arrivals are available, we just have to confirm with cleaning company and calendars.

We highly recommend guests purchase CFAR travel insurance (Cancel for any reason). Affordable and offers great piece of mind to travelers.

Vacation during a vacation
We stayed here while visiting the National Parks - our kids enjoyed staying at the house to swim and relax just as much as the parks! A beautiful, relaxing home. Great communication and responsiveness.

Idyllic
Our family so enjoyed our time here none of us wanted to leave. The house is beautiful and full of what appears to be a lifetime of traveling and gorgeous collections of art. It is quirky and felt very homey. I even found my book club book on the shelves and was able to get a head start on reading which I enjoyed in the beautiful outdoor space. The pool was lovely after a day spent hiking. I would return and stay here in an heart beat. I also enjoyed the Mexican place twice and cannot recommend the verde sauce highly enough I will be dreaming of it for weeks to come. Loved our stay here!!!

Perfect location
Great location. Down the street from the market and very close to everything Three Rivers has to offer. Close to the park, if you’re interested in checking out Sequoia. 2nd stay at this property and it has everything you’ll ever need in a vacation rental. Highly recommend and we’ll be back again.

Fabulous retreat
Our stay at this Three Rivers home was so peaceful and pleasant and just what we hoped for. The home was clean, well stocked and just as advertised. For entertainment we drove up to the a sequoia National forest and hiked on three different days. Also stopped in for lunch at Sierra Subs - the best! And the Pizza Factory for dinner - also amazing! We would stay here again.

Great getaway close to sequoia national park
We had such a fun time at this rental - great layout for 3 couples, well equipped kitchen, awesome pool and hot tub, very private despite its proximity to town. It’s also very close to the entrance to sequoia national park although road closures limited our ability to venture far, still some good trails within reach. The property is a bit older and there are some minor things that could use upgrading but overall a fantastic stay, highly recommend it.

Great stay.
The location and amenities were great. There were a few things that didn’t work. We had to replace the tank on the gas grill. It still didn’t work well. The patio heater did not work. The pool waterfall wasn’t working. But the patio and outside fireplace were great. Only 10-15 minutes to the park. Overall we really enjoyed it.

Family Retreat
We had a terrific stay, enjoying the home very much! The pool and patio were very nice and provided family time. The home is very near the entrance to Sequoia National Park with the opportunity to explore the “big trees”. Would highly recommend!!

Mini resort is perfect location for Sequoia visit!
The condo was perfect! It was clean, spacious and was the perfect place to re-energize after our visit to Sequoia. The pool and hot tub were great! Unfortunately Sequoia's Three Rivers entrance was closed while we were here but it is very conveniently located for that entrance. Highly recommend staying here and we would definitely stay here again!!

A Wonderful Oasis
This property is outstanding with its beauty, cleanliness and convenience to Sequoia National Park. We couldn’t wait to come home from a long day of hiking each day to enjoy the pool. Our family of five was sad to leave.

Amazing Housing on the River
We were very fortunate to stay at this lovely house at Three Rivers. House was clean, big rooms, and great decorations. Kitchen had everything we needed. Pool and hot tub worked great. Amazing views of the river. Quaint little area with a cute market 100 yards away with all types of groceries and drinks. Definitely would stay again and recommend.

Fabulous Getaway
We needed a place to stay for my brother’s wedding. We could not have been more pleased with the house. It’s beautiful and well maintained. We hope to return and stay longer than just a couple of days. Highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a great pool and jacuzzi!

Premium relaxing getaway!
We had an absolutely great stay at this house. The spacious 3BR/3BA was very comfortable, extremely well stocked with high quality goods, and the grounds were beautiful. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub with great pool toys and plush pool towels. There are two restaurants, a drug store and a well stocked market within yards of the house, yet the house is nicely secluded. We'd definitely return!

Oasis near Sequoia
We loved this house. After traveling for several days, our family of four was able to spread out. With three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, it was perfect. The pool and hot tub area was magnificent, and we opted to skip one day of hiking just to relax poolside instead! It was easy to get food to cook from the nearby village market. Highly recommend.

Amazing relaxing vacation
Pam and Greg have a lovely piece of property here! We were five of us looking to get away for the weekend, and we had a great time. The house was well equipped, with great appliances, a hot tub (that we didn't use only because it was too cold outside), a projector which we could use to watch movies, an amazing backyard, and the river flowing nearby was absolutely brilliant (we picnicked there for lunch). The home itself was very cozy and provided the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation. We will definitely be going back again.

Picture Perfect
Felt like we walked into our own private resort. The pool, hot tub, fire places, wood grill, we basically lived outside and it was amazing. Very highly recommend this property. It was clean, comfortable, cozy, well maintained, and just an awesome vibe and energy. Waking up to the sound of the river then turning on the waterfall in the pool while having breakfast outside. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

California retreat
This was a great home! Everything was clean and exactly as depicted in the pictures. The owner was responsive to questions and helpful. The beds were very comfortable with nice bedding. The neighborhood was excellent! Made for a perfect getaway!!! The outside pool was beautiful. It would have been nice to turn off the waterfall to the pool as our group was older and some were hard of hearing and this made sitting by the pool difficult. There was a great book with suggestions inside on places to eat and hikes. I would definitely come back to this home! Thank you!!

Wonderful pool/patio area.
This is a wonderful location right in Three Rivers. But very close to the grocery store and dining options. We purchased pizza one night and prepared dinner another night. This is a complex of 3 houses. We rented the main house. Our business friends took the home right next door with 2 bedrooms. Very much enjoyed watching movies from the hot tub.

Superb Setting, Wonderful People
My wife, two sons and myself stayed here in Summer 2011 and used it as a base to tour Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. When I look back, the first memory is of the friendliness and kindness of the owners. They live in an adjoining property and were able to provide excellent advice on nearby sights & restaurants. They were very helpful as we were settling-in. The setting is delightful - the garden and adjacent river were places to relax and take life slow; the pool and spa were welcoming after a day of sightseeing. Three Rivers itself was an ideal base - all you want in terms of shops and restaurants and we only wish we could have stayed longer.

Relaxing stay
We had a wonderful time at this lovely home. It was perfect for our family of 4. The backyard was our favorite... we spent a lot of time in the pool. The kids loved the waterfall feature and enjoyed the provided pool floats. The home had everything we needed, even a small upright piano that my son and I enjoyed playing jazz and classical music on. The location was perfect... close to many amenities like the village market and Sierra subs, Sequoia coffee - 1 mile away. It felt very private with the yard backed up near the river. Would highly recommend this lovely home.

Clean, nice layout, pool and hot tub we're clean, nice proximity to national Forest, grocery store, ni linens, two dining areas (one on patio). Projector did not work, but tv inside was great. Would recommend getting a toaster, can opener (we left ours but it's not very good) and a binder with directions.

Beautiful, Clean, Convenient - Highly Recommended
Four of us (2 couples) stayed here in September 2010 and loved the place. It is beautiully decorated with high-quality furnishings and has all the amenities you could ask for. The beds are super-comfortable. We loved using the pool and hot tub and enjoyed an evening movie while sitting in the hot tub. The place is on a quiet side street but is just a very, very short walk of the grocery store and some restaurants. We spent two days in the main part of Sequoia National Park (incredible trees and saw seven black bear!) and one day hiking in the Mineral King section (highly recommended). The villa offers tremendous value for the money and I HIGHLY recommend that you stay here.

Beautiful home on the River
Shea and Pam’s Home on the river was very comfortable and cozy! It is closely located to Sequoia National Park entrance and convenient to the grocery store (awesome BBQ on weekends), pizza shop, drugstore and coffee shop. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, and the decor was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed using the hot tub after hiking all day! The pool was nice and very large but a little cold for our taste. We enjoyed sitting on the patio near the pool as it was very private except for an occasional renter from next door - walking back from the river ( they didn’t have access inside our portion of the yard and were outside the fence that surrounds this unit though). The sheets and towels were high quality, couch was comfortable, kitchen table was plenty big for our family. We also loved the art and decor on the shelves. All in all a great rental!

Perfection
I’ve spent nearly 40 summers in 3R. I’ve rented everything from motels to cabins to houses on hills. By far, this is THE BEST rental I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. The entire family (ages 20-51) rated this the best overall. The house itself is well laid out, giving everyone enough privacy. We spend most of our time in the kitchen and outdoors and both of these areas didn’t disappoint. Kitchen is perfectly stocked. The outside patio is spacious and you really do feel like you’re in a resort. My favorite, however, is the river being just a short pathway away. We spent our mornings having coffee on the water’s edge and our afternoons swimming with the fish, turtles and frogs. This summer, the water is lower than it has been in several years, but it was still swimmable. Pam was a gracious host and checked in regularly. Looking forward to reserving next summer and many more after.
