"The rooms were clean and spacious; The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. What really makes this hotel stand out however is the extraordinarily kind and professional staff. And their breakfast was one of my two favorite breakfasts during my two week journey in Europe. Generous, with high quality ingredients. Fresh squeezed juices, delicious cheeses etc.etc. I could elaborate more, but the foods were presented and procured with a sense of excellence and care for the guest. Lovely staff....

A kind local lady did some phone calls which obtained the relative codes for key access. As a matter of fact the instructions then came through to me at 2331 on Sat. 29/06/2024. "This was a highlight of our 2-week trip to France. The chatelet and property are just beautiful, and, as a musician, the history of the property was just magical. The host is so welcoming and generous with her advice about local attractions. She made us dinner reservations at a charming bistro that was the best meal of our trip, and sent us on the most wonderful local drive. Breakfast was perfect. If you are near Compiegne, you won’t regret a night or 2 or 3 at the Villa du Chatelet."
