"We really enjoyed our stay at this property! House has nice interior, lots of attention to detail. It has games, good quality linens, well equipped kitchen with nice tableware. Such nice touches like we found bacon, sausages, eggs, bread and juice left for us for breakfast! 100% recommend!"

"The house itself is good, comfortable, and fairly reflects the listing, with ample space for a large house party. However, our otherwise enjoyable experience was let down by the lack of attention to detail, in terms of house-keeping and maintenance/repair. When paying a top-end price (about 7k for 4 nights) it was disappointing that several lights did not work (including bathroom lights, dining room main light, bathroom mirror light), the Aga never got up to cooking temperature even after 4 days...

"The property has a high standard, there are a few things however that could be improved on. Wardrobe space is sadly lacking and could be placed on the landing. Also a chair in the bedroom. Please dont be so stringy with the toilet rolls. Willprobably"

"Aldi Morrisons and McDonald's are a couple of mins drive. Restaurants and shops 10 mins slow walk but car park also near by shops. Comfortable stay, we used as a base for biking 15 miles round Rutland water. Double bedroom on ground floor with toilet by the door. Then another double on top floor with ensuite shower room. A twin room and a bunk bed room with main bath room and over bath shower. Very good for large families. We didn't use the kitchen because chippy was also good near by. "

"Everything about our experience has been horrible. The house reeked of cat urine. It was so bad that we could only stand to be in there a few minutes. It also had not been cleaned properly with grease and grime all over the kitchen, the smoke detectors had been removed, the exterior/yard was just mud and creepy old sheds. We could not stay there and ended up booking rooms at a nearby inn and then moving to another nearby rental. We complained immediately to the property manager and they did...
