"Communications were great, and they made sure we knew what we needed for the stay. The place was clean and had plenty of linens and towels for our use. I do think that if you have a small car you will have trouble getting in to the site, especially if there's bad weather. I needed to put my truck into 4-Wheel drive a couple of times."

"We enjoyed staying at the lake cabin! The cabin was great for 4 adults and our 2 dogs. The view was beautiful with the lake and fall leaves! Everything was clean and cosy. Thanks for your hospitality! Linda"

"This was THE perfect spot for one last hurrah/downtime before the school year and sports pick back up. It was remote and quiet with cover water access and kayaks. Everything in the kitchen works beautifully and their is plenty of beds and space to spread out. We really enjoyed our stay"

It was just as nice spending time in the cabin as it was hiking in Shenandoah and exploring nearby Orange. The entire weekend was such a nice escape from the city. "We loved the great-room just off the dining/kitchen area, as well as the boat dock for lounging and kayaking. Used the patio for grilling and campfire with s'mores. The location at the north end of the lake is a convenient launching point for area attractions. Couldn't really use the spare sitting room as a bedroom, but fortunately we didn't need it. Had a few minor issues, but the owner/host was very responsive. "

"The property is located in a very beautiful and secluded part of Virginia. All cabins are nestled within the trees and our unit had a lovely tree shaded deck. We were able to eat breakfast and dinner outside in complete comfort thanks to the trees (this also made it very private). The cabin was nicely designed and the kitchen was clean and very functional. This is a wonderful place for a getaway. The pools were very clean and well maintained. Check in was fast and easy. The concierge...

"Beautiful spacious property in the remote hills of Virginia provided a great backdrop and respite for our family gathering. Everything from the dishes, outdoor space and decor were well thought out. We had difficulty with checkin as no one was available and the code didn’t work but otherwise our stay was fantastic. Definitely will stay here again when we are back in the area. "My husband and I wanted a nice relaxing weekend getaway before we welcome our first baby in 2025 and this stay did not disappoint! On the way we stopped at Dirt Farm Brewery for some amazing views and got to the property around check in time. Process was super easy and the listing was exactly as promised in the pictures. We had dinner that night at the Black Twig close by and it was very delicious! On Saturday morning we made breakfast from the breakfast basket we added on with fresh eggs,...
