"It is a very nice and beautiful place - just as described. Easy check-in and check-out. We rented it for Thanksgiving and asked for an early check-in, and the owner agreed without any issues. The only problem was the temperature. When we arrived, the thermostat was set to 51F, and it felt noticeably cold. Among us were a few elderly people, for whom the first few hours were difficult until the temperature rose to 65F. The owners should set the thermostat higher before our arrival so we wouldn't...

"Our family group of 10 stayed in the Northern Nest for a trip skiing at Crystal Mountain, which is about 12 minutes away. The home is very nice and well laid out for our group size. Nestled into the woods beside the Betsie River, this place is a 10/10! The owner is very quick communicating and was great to work with as well! We will be back this summer to do some kayaking!"
